    Okay, its my turn now...

If we're guessing, it reminds me of the paint on my G35. That had that metallic blue flake in the paint.

    A few product impressions...

Agreed. I don't actually like the finish on leather, but I loooove what it does to a dash board. :) Although I must say, it did work really well after Leatherique Rejuvenator.

    Expensive vs inexpensive products

But that's exactly the point. Where do you draw the line? How do you know that the more expensive one is justified? Example... Poorboys Nattys carnuba. It's like $20. Compare that to say... an offering from Pinnacle, Wolfgang, or Zymol. Worth the difference? Hell, go one step further and...

    Tire Stains on Leather

Mix up some APC about 10:1 or more to test, then go a little stronger if you need to. A soft brush to agitate it if needed, otherwise just microfiber to agitate. Should come right off with no problem.

    A few product impressions...

Nice review. You may also wanna try PB Leather Stuff. It's not just for leather, it leaves a very natural finish on rubber, plastic, and vinyl as well. Give it a shot if you get a chance. :)

Can I clean carpets and seats without and extractor?

APC, soak 5-10 min, agitate with a brush, vaccuum out with a wet/dry vac if you have one. Done :) I don't know if we can hot link to other forums here or if that's frowned upon, but there's a great thread about how to do this without an extractor on another forum. Actually I'll just pm you...

Did i screw up somewhere in between? Makita 9227c

Exactly. Pad and product choice make all the difference.

Did i screw up somewhere in between? Makita 9227c

That's not really accurate. So many great detailers use only a rotary. Others use both, but it's not a hard and fast rule that they use both. Most don't.

I can't believe they said it wasn't possible to prevent. Christ, you should go to them and offer your detailing services. :) Great job by the way.
