Do you think it would be a good idea if I polish a new car with Menzerna FF PO85U to make the paint "POP" a bit more or is it to harsh? Paint color is Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl, has no swirls.

Well I dont know if this places an important fact on the way the UC acted that day, but since it was raining and I live in a tropical island the humidity levels were thru the roof add the fact of the work lights adding heat.

So last weekend I was using Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and I notices how quickly the product dried. So I started doing a massive search to see if there was a cure for this and found a thread that recommends putting a drop of Johnson & Johnson baby oil. Is this possible?

It looks black, but actually is a blue car. it had that effect that with sunlight looks blue and at night looks black. I've noticed that it had lost that ability of "changing color" but since detailing it, I see it got it back!!! Thank you very much!!! Thanks!!! Love the car, I dont drive...

Thanks BobbyG, it took me 3 days. I did the compounding and polishing about 2 weeks ago (saturday and sunday), had to go on a trip las weekend so this sunday I "finished" the job. The wife could not believe it was her car, she thought I put somekind of glossy liquid plastic to the paint jajaja.
