My DD (04 MB e320) with 85 k miles has been showing wear on the drivers seat. Today I noticed some green looking stain/wear on the seat. I figured it was possibly my green work pants had rubbed off on the seat, so I used some of my Griots leather cleaner to clean the seat. It made it look worse...
They are yankin' your chain about calling the BBB............If they continue to hassle you give me the son's telephone # and I will HAVE A FRIENDLY CHAT WITH HIM. :nomore:
I had several almost empty bottles of liquid waxes and quick detailers laying around, so I mixed up my own recipe that works great as a quick detailer and shine enhancer.....It has Megs Ultimate quick wax, CG's V7, CG's Pro detailer, Wizard's Mist and Shine and a dash of Pinnacle spray wax. It...
Hopefully you learned a lesson worth more than the $ they owe you..........I wouldnt bother filing in small claims court, or calling the police, BUT I would wait about 3-4 weeks and slash a tire, or egg the car. If they put 2+2 together than maybe they will learn a lesson too.
Im the 4th response, soooo that should make me a winner!............My favorite WG product without question is FUSION. It smells great, has a great texture, goes on and comes off so easy and best of all it leaves a great shine and reflection. I love it sooo much I drove from Atlanta,GA to...
Use a sealant and a wax.......Seal with the WGDGS then wait 1-2 days and wax with Wolfgang Fusion. Both are easy to use. Let the sealant cure for 30 minutes or so before buffing off. With the Fusion do one panel at a time and buff off right after you apply. Both buff off smoothly and easily. :props:
to get a mechanics chair/stool so I wont kill my back and knees..........I got the Sears 32 dollar chair with a tool tray, padded seat and adjustable height. I know its not the best or sturdiest, but I cleaned 8 wheels today and didnt have to get on my knees, or crawl around once.......I FEEL...
I like CG's Satin shine. Its water based, has UV protection and has a nice subtle, dark shine without attracting dust and dirt. Its great for exterior trim and tires too. :props:
I stopped at Autgeek while driving back to Atlanta from Miami last month. Everyone was very nice and I was lucky enough to get the tour throughout the building and spend some time with Mike Phillips......My avitar picture is of me outside the building.....:props:
Detailing a bike is alot of work......There may be less paint surface area, but there are alot of fine detail areas. Everything from clutch and brake handles to cooling fins on the motor to spokes on the wheels. If the bike is a cruiser style like a Harley you will do alot of chrome and aluminum...
Im a hobbiest, not a professional and I use a Home Depot 50-75 dollar electric leaf blower for the outside and a 50-75 dollar bagless vacuum cleaner from Walmart for the interior. They both do a great job and not expensive,,,,,,,,,
