I've mostly stuck with Meguiars over the years, but recently when I got more serious about detailing I've started trying stuff from them, different Meguiars products, Optimum, HD, and Griot's.
I still need to get my hands on some WG products.
I've also got 5 sets of the CG Hex Logic pads that I like, but again have nothing to compare them to.
I used an orange pad with V36 on my GF's horribly neglected blue honda and the results were great. Finished it up with V38 and HD Poxy.
I have V36 and V38 and I like them both. Their new car shine dressing smells great and I like that it is dry to touch, I'm not huge on shiny interiors though.
I've got a fair amount of their other products and have been happy, but I haven't tried a whole lot of products to compare against them.
I've been seeing some jabs at CG on here, and I also know a lot of people like a lot of their products, myself included.
So whats up with the pokes at them?
I don't use them exclusively, but I'm happy with everything I have from them.
You have to try really hard to mess up your paint with a DA.
I have a PC7424XP and I love it. Get a few sets of pads and some polish and start light and progress if it doesn't work.
I squeezed a pretty fair amount of dawn into my bucket to wash off all of the polish and what not that I had laid down. It go super foamy and seemed like a lot.
Washed it twice and it was still beading.
Should I just wash more times, use more soap, is there a better stripper?
I really like my Mother's brush.
It's surprisingly soft and works really well.
I have a slightly stiffer and smaller brush for stubborn stains and smaller areas.
