portable air gun/blower for drying ?..

DeWalt does as well. I played with one of theirs, and it might work, but it wasn't cheap. As far as a portable pressurized solution, the only useful system (short of a serious air compressor & tank) that'd work would be a Powertank or similar CO2 inflation system. Nothing else I know of will...

A photo of the grill would make it easier to understand what you're trying to accomplish. Maybe this article will help. Different products, but the same concept. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/how-articles/47622-diamond-plate-aluminum-dullsville-mirror-shine-1947-chevy-pickup.html

Getting tire dressing out of tire brush

That's one of the reasons I don't like tire gel. IIRC, I used a pressure washer to blow most of the gel + accumulated crud off of the tires. You could give that a try and see if it removes enough that it doesn't fling gelblek about ... or try another tire dressing.

Getting tire dressing out of tire brush

Probably so. I've used that stuff and it's a needless mess, IME. I'm probably in the minority here, but if I was to design the perfect tire dressing, it would make the rubber look like it did when new, no more gloss than that. I apply one coat of Stoner® More Shine Tire Shine and call it good...

Getting tire dressing out of tire brush

The manufacturer recommends using a sponge for application, but if you want to keep using a brush, a pressure washer may be able to blast most of the gel out of the bristles. Even then, I think you run the risk of bristles flinging gel onto the wheels once it loads up with a little.

Part-Time Detailers, how do you do it!?

Shani, I haven't worked as a detailer, but I've run my own part-time business. Optimizing all of your services can save you a lot of time, even if it's...
