    Flex Cordless reviews..

I've seen Mike Phillips review from a while back. Was wondering if there are any others actually using this on a regular basis. How well does it perform?

Experience with Griots Garage Premium Carnuba Paste Wax

You know, I am beginning to learn that too when it comes to Grio'ts Garage. Have been experimenting with their BOSS creams and am liking them very much so far. Their Premium Carnuba Paste Wax caught my attention so I am interested what the detailing community would say about it. Although I am...

Experience with Griots Garage Premium Carnuba Paste Wax

Any thoughts on how well this wax performs? Any first hand reviews? Does it last any longer than any other Carnuba based waxes? It does seem a little on the pricier side, is it worth the "premium"? I did originally post this in the Griot's forum section but surprisingly, no reviews of it.

Car wash at coin op and polish at home?

Hello gregpack. Congratulations on your business! I agree, taking up wash bay time during high volume times is inconsiderate. In my case, I always made an effort to avoid those times and it seemed to work for all. I actually enjoyed it more during the "off-peak" times as there were no kids with...

Car wash at coin op and polish at home?

On the matter of taking to much time in the wash bay, I would often wait until after 5PM to go to the car wash. All the staff is usually gone by then.

Car wash at coin op and polish at home?

I have done that many times. When I get home, I simply go over the car with a quick detailer just before polishing to ensure I am working on a clean surface. It has worked well for me. Regarding commercial car washes, be very careful. Many of them absolutely will scratch the heck out of your...

Longevity/durability of Griots Garage Premium Carnuba Paste Wax

Anyone here using this stuff? How do you like it? Regarding durability, about how long does this stuff last? Would you say it is any better or about the same as any other typical Carnuba based wax? Saw some claims of nearly 6 months! That seems quite long for a Carnuba based wax. What are you...

Question about Boss Fast Correcting Cream...

Because I don't have much experience with the BOSS system beyond trying it on my own car. I was looking for a much more broad opinion, a consensus on what other detailers with a wide detailing range thought. I don't want to commit to buying into a product line only to find out later that it may...

Question about Boss Fast Correcting Cream...

You know, I think temperature definitely is playing a role with the BOSS creams. I have seen this characteristic too. In my experience though, the performance is unaffected. I have yet to come across any other polish that is easier to use or finishes better than the BOSS creams, and no dusting...

Question about Boss Fast Correcting Cream...

Hey Eldorado2K! My mistake. I meant to ask how does BOSS FCC compare to Megs M105, not M205 which is a finishing polish. Sorry for my confusion.

Question about Boss Fast Correcting Cream...

How would you say BOSS FCC compares to Megs M205 in terms of cutting and correcting ability? I did look at the Autogeek Abrasive Comparison Chart. BOSS products were not listed. They (Autogeek) should consider revising that chart periodically as this segment of the market is often changing.

Question about Boss Fast Correcting Cream...

If Boss FAST Correcting cream is used, can you then skip directly to Boss Perfecting Cream with good results, or should there be another polish step in between. For now let's assume the car is black. Thanks in advance!

Frustrated with dusting of Meg's M105. Alternative options?

I agree with the Griot's BOSS system correcting creams. They are great and no dust at all. It's bubba-proof! However for me, I am trying really hard to stay within one product line. We'll see, I could be convinced to change...

    Advertising Protection Durability

If you have a website, consider listing a handful of frequently asked questions (FAQ). This would be ideal and allows you to explain in detail and consistently to all clients. Other benefits to a FAQ include the ability to demonstrate to clients the depth and breadth of you experience and...

    AIO product Recommendations...

Which AIO products offer the best polishing ability? Looking for an AIO that has the best light scratch removing ability. I suppose using an aggressive polishing pad will always help too. THANKS!!

    Advertising Protection Durability

I would just be honest and tell them what to expect based on real-world conditions. Explain how things like local climate, weather and proper maintenance will impact the longevity of any product. I would also educate them on how unrealistic most product manufacturers claims are. As a business...

Frustrated with dusting of Meg's M105. Alternative options?

Thanks for the kind words WRAPT C5Z06! As far as being "new" to polishing...well, I've been polishing my own cars (ALWAYS BLACK!) for several years. Just recently sold my "hobby car", a Dodge Challenger SRT8, black. I got pretty good at maintaining a near show car quality finish on that...

Frustrated with dusting of Meg's M105. Alternative options?

Well first, I had the weather working against me. The outside air temperature (OAT) was 101F. I was in the shade, but that is still quite warm. Secondly, I started by working 24"X24" sections and in this heat, that was too much. I cut the working sections to about 16" to 18" square. Also, I...

Frustrated with dusting of Meg's M105. Alternative options?

Thanks again for all the advice & suggestions. I think I got it now, at least with the M205. I think my technique is what needed some refining. Doing much better now!

Frustrated with dusting of Meg's M105. Alternative options?

I think temperature is definitely working against me. I live in Las Vegas an the heat is brutal! Although I am not working in direct sunlight, I am working outside. I will also re-evaluate my technique.
