Thanks for that example. That will very much come in handy. I too use OCW but just when I'm in a hurry after washing my car. Have you ever used opti-seal as a base? I read on their website that it can be used as abase for OCW. Just wondering what the benefit would be. Extra gloss? Protection...

I'm not that bad..lol I dont think. I just like waxing my families cars and thought I do it for a friend.

Has anyone tried this combo? I have and love OCW. but have read that Opti-Seal can be used as a base. Would the Opti-Seal add more gloss and or protection if used under the OCW? Thanks for any answers. And on a car that doesnt really need to be polished would it be alright to use this combo...

Cool, thanks for your replies, Ill have to look in to the sealant. Does it take a long to to apply? Like apply and wait 30 minutes, or just wait for a haze to form?

I really like it because of the ease of use. It seems to work alright for me, and have read plenty of reviews how it last longer than most waxes. Which would you prefer for durability. Thanks

Yes, just havent charged anyone. I'm just going off of detailing shop prices. I know they use machines so thats probably why they can charge what they do

So im guessing better prep would be using a machine to apply the wax?
