Black Label surface coating, what's going on here?

Polishing once a month is excessive. A Paint Cleanser or a nano polish wont abrade your clear,

Black Label surface coating, what's going on here?

CarPro coatings are forgiving too. Opti Coat and G|Techniq must be leveled immediately.

IME 4500 is enough on its own. I use a rotary and jewel it.

Comments on Paint Cleaners and Fine Polishes

Really fine work Steve. I have a couple more to add if you don't mind: G|Techniq P2 Jeweling Polish. This is a water based polish. I only use it with a rotary, since technically jeweling should be performed by rotary. I have never tried it with a DA so I cant comment on it for that. It does not...

    Best spray bottle for...

I recommend a Garden Pump Sprayer, It will hold 1 or 2 gallons, Pump it up and spray away. I pre-soak every wash with UWW+ in a 2 gallon sprayer, Amazon has very fine sprayers at good prices.

Flex 3401 / Microfiber pads - best combo pad/backing plate

There are no other BP options. I prefer the 6" Buff & Shine MF Pads on the LC 6" BP. I don't buy the myth that MF pads and forced rotation don't play well together. My experience has been fine. I only cut with MF and finish with foam.

    CarPro Reload vs Traditional Sealant

OK,I am good with this . IME ReLoad is very cost effective. A very little goes a very long way! As Corey recommends: 1 spray on panel wipe immediately use a second MF to buff. The Crazy Pile do best for this. If you have a dark color, dilute ReLoad with distilled water up to 50%. Hope this...

What is the best Car Wash Soap that you have used?

... and if you use a coating, use a wash made for coatings, i.e., no gloss enhancers like G Wash., DODO Juice Super Natural or Born to be Mild. For prep wash nothing beats CG Citrus Red for me.

The latest Griots six inch DA has greatly raised the bar for consumer grade DA's. Far superior ergonomics and the best warranty in the industry. I recommend you pass on the 25' power cable version and buy an extension cord instead. I would strongly recommend the Maguire's Microfiber system for...

    CarPro Reload vs Traditional Sealant

When I recommended ReLoad or Polymer NetShield to The Critic, he dismissed them stating they would not bond to OC. Well we know they do because we have tried them! He also thinks CQ just wears off. I guess those little quartz particles on my foam pad when I abraded CQ were a figment of my...

CQuartz UK vs Opti-Coat 2.0 for Black Cars

either will need compounding. ReLoad or SONAX Polymer Net Shield will enhance the slickness and gloss of either OC or CQ-UK.
