How to keep polished wheels shiny?

I got polished aluminum wheels on my stang and I can spend hours polishing on them and the first time it rains they look like poop. Not literally poop but not as good as they did. Any suggestions on how to keep them looking better longer? I usually use the mothers polish with the powerball...

Color Shifting Paints - Photo Collection

Those mystic cobras are very cool. People at carshows have a hard time believing that Wish4svts car is a factory paint job.

    PC 7424 & Mystic Paint!!

I would m205 it and go over it with some 3m ultrafina and maybe some m07 show car glaze and then wax it with the wax of your choice. I think ive seen this car in a car show at Dallas Mustang...... not sure though

Yeah I have the 3m Trizact system and it says it can be finished out with the spot finishing polish it came with

Do you think its true the more time you do wetsanding the less time it will take to buff?

Just as the title states. On a full wetsand and buff do you think the more time you put into the wetsanding then it would take less time to buff it out? Ive been thinking about this for the past couple of days

Can you use too much water when wetsanding with a DA?

My Caddy truck (my daily) looking all fresh

Its a 2005 GMC Regency truck with a Escalade front end. I had to cut the Escalade fender right above the body line and weld it to the GMC's lower part of the fender. It took about a month to do.
