    Where Is Asphalt Rocket/Dana

Really? So if something did happen between two people off the forums, are you suggesting that a 3rd party should come into Mike's place of employment and publicly call him out for what he sees as less than stellar behavior? Again, I've never seen Mike treat anyone unfairly on any forum. Why...

    Where Is Asphalt Rocket/Dana

It is hard for me to imagine Mike treating anyone unfairly. He has always been the consummate professional on detailing forums. I don't recall ever seeing him type a harsh word. If he felt the need to take someone to task, chances are it was deserved and there were ample 2nd and even 3rd...

    Good AWD/4wd winter/lab beater

As an owner of little else but Jeeps the last 33yrs, I will also suggest the Cherokee. Stick with a 1996 to 2001 (newer style) with the 4.0L inline 6, AW4 auto tranny and a select-trac tcase (both full & part time 4wd) and you can run it will into the upper 200k miles range if it was adequately...

Fractured/Wrinkled Etching Popping up all over

My guess is that bird bombs and other paint damage were there when you purchased the vehicle. By polishing the paint, you either removed the minor swirls that were making them less noticeable or you removed whatever was used to hide them in terms of a glaze, filler or some other product.

Review: Wolfgang Füzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax

Spoken like someone who simply doesn't want to consider the possibility that there may be more cost effective alternatives to the fuzion marketing hype. If it works for you and you are willing to pay the price, don't let the opinions and reviews of those who may not agree bother you so much...

    Xmt 360

If the vehicle has never been clayed, chances are it needs to be. Only way to tell is to use the baggie trick after the vehicle is washed and dried. Also, XMT is an AIO product with mild polishing abilities, a cleaner and sealant all in one product. While there would be no harm in applying a...

    Opinions on the best sealant

And since it is very unlikely that any of us have tried them all, what one person claims to be the best means nothing. IMHO the prep is far more important than the sealant and the BFWD is good enough for me. These "what is the best" threads generally mean nothing as they are way too vague and...

Need help with spots left after ONR wash

My guess is and it is only a guess, that the "water spots" were already present on the dusty car before you did the ONR and spray wax. ONR won't remove waterspots and if you then waxed over them, they are now under a thin layer of protection. Again just a guess but I don't see how a properly...

    Microfiber towel Question

Not all MF are created equal and if you use an inferior one, it can scratch the paint regardless of how well you take care of it. Start with a quality MF, use a liquid detergent without any softners (I use liquid tide) and tumble dry on a cool temp. Should give you the best chance at not...

Advice on detailing my wife's daily driver...

If it were me (well it is me as I am in the middle of detailing the wife's black grand cherokee) I would go with the wash, clay, 2 stage polish, sealant and you avbsolutely feel the need a coat or two of wax. On a daily driver, it just isn't worth the added effort to me to go through too many...
