    How to apply Optimum GPS

The longer you wait to wipe it off the more durability you're supposed to get from it. With that said I can't really get any durability out of it.

PLease tell me what Im missing.. My current products list.

Nice catch Jeff! I've had better luck with APC+ and Zep high traffic than I have with Folex, but it's cheap and a must try so you can judge for yourself. I do like the fact that there is no need to "rinse" Folex. My 6.5hp 5 gallon shop vac is finally dying after a good 5 years of use. Think I...

PLease tell me what Im missing.. My current products list.

Foaming is overrated in my opinion, but others will disagree. You could save some money by eliminating the foamy stuff. Unless you're trying to impress clients and you're mobile. You'll get lots of "so what are you doing"s from passer bys and sometimes a couple more customers. I agree with...

M100 M101 M105 for DA use... some questions...

You know M105 is so finicky especially if you don't have a climate controlled shop to work in. Sometimes I get tons of dust and other times nothing at all. Dusting never bothered me that much though. I'm also leaning towards M100 to try next (out of FG400, M100, M101). I have a thing for SMAT...

    12x12 ez up canopy

I have a 10x15 and find it's a perfect size. I can set it up myself if I'm on a hard surface... on a grassy surface the legs get caught. I can do it, but a second person helps in that situation. I'd say a 12x12 would be really helpful to someone that had nothing although a bit of the front and...

M100 M101 M105 for DA use... some questions...

Thanks Mike... Look forward to meeting you this weekend. :xyxthumbs: No no, I'm totally here to make friends. I didn't take it that way... I just wanted to make sure no one took my questions the wrong way either. :grouphug:

M100 M101 M105 for DA use... some questions...

Please don't take what I said wrong. I know Mike is a good guy and I look up to him and find his life story inspirational. M101 was designed for rotary and foam pads. Mikes has tried it on rotary, forced rotation DA and regular DA along with Surbuf, microfiber and foam pads. M100 was designed...

M100 M101 M105 for DA use... some questions...

You recommend M101 over M100 for a DA yet it sounds like you never tried M100 with a DA because it was designed for rotary. But isn't M101 "designed for rotary" as well? Why try one and not the other with a DA? Wouldn't it be more fair to recommend M101 over M100 on a DA after you've tried both...

    Food Inbetween Seats?

What kind of car is it? You've probably thought of this, but if you can't get it from the top how about moving your seat to it's forward most position and try going underneath from the back of the seat? I had to reword that a couple of times so I didn't get any "that's what she said" from my...

    best wheel well brush?

It could have been Dollar Tree or Sweetbay Supermarket. I can't remember 100% I just remember it was a place I don't go to often. Just look for one without extremely hard bristles and no sharp edges. They're cheap enough that you can try a few to see if you like one better than the other.

    Aio

My favorite used to be Optimum GPS, but lately it's been Megs D151. I'd really like to try DG501.

    best wheel well brush?

Okay, that's right. Well the bristles are stiff enough that the metal wont be in direct contact (or extremely little) to the fender well plastic and if it does come in contact the metal is very smooth. Dirty wheel wells are a pet peeve of mine so I'm always cleaning mine using that brush and I...

    best wheel well brush?

The only metal is the twisted metal holding the bristles. The ends of the metal are inside the plastic handle. Nothing sharp or jagged. It's just the plastic under the fender well so I don't see a problem here. I have a Daytona and I seem to recall the bristles being held on by twisted metal as...

    best wheel well brush?

I honestly can't remember. I'm sure a lot of people must have thought I was weird seeing me feeling all of the toilet brushes. Every time I was in a store and seen them I would feel them. Most of the bristles are too stiff to flex into the cracks and crevices under a fender well. One day I found...

Your expert help needed please - Obsidian black pearl Subaru paint

I own a WR Blue Subie and have worked on Plasma Blue and Obsidian Black... all different years and soft clear does seem to be common between them all. For me, I've never had to go more aggressive than M205 and a black finishing pad. If that wouldn't have worked I would have stuck with M205 and...

    best wheel well brush?

For the times when there is little space between the wheel well opening and the tire I use a toilet bowl brush :xyxthumbs: It's the kind with a loop on the end. The bristles are mostly too stiff on them, but I finally found one that works great and it was super cheap. Otherwise if there is...

    CG trim dressing so confusing!

I LOL'd at this. I'm still searching for a nice trim dressing and I'm betting it won't be in CG's lineup.

    reduce griot's vibration... flex quieter?

I agree that for me the rotary is easier than the 3401 :) I learned on a rotary at my dad's body shop when I was a kid. I sometimes don't look forward to using the 3401, but I do *personally* find it corrects better than the PC. Everyone's experience is going to be different. Where are you...

    reduce griot's vibration... flex quieter?

I would say from the first video the sound is accurate for the flex but my PC (which is not an XP like what is shown in the video) has a slightly deeper sound *slightly*. The second video I'm not sure 'cause they are both running at the same time. I will say this: using the PC I never noticed...
