Just finished my first detail on my wife's car. Washed 3 times in the last 18 months and NEVER waxed!! ( I was overseas compliments of my Uncle Sam). Had to use the Advanced Swirl remover 3 times and the Advanced Finish Polish to fix the waterspot damage!! Sealed it all in with Mequires Gold...

I was just worried that if I stored the PC on it's side with the backing plkate on, it would flat spot, ot warp the backing plate. I like the idea of a dedicated small toolbox. I'll get one today. Thanks for all the help.

Is there a correct/incorrect way to store the PC and pads? The pads, I ASSume are self explanitory, (not on the sides, dry, clean...) but the PC? With flex plate on or off? If on, plate up or down? On it's side? To some this is probably a "trivial" question, but to a "noob" that just dropped...

Thank you. I had 3 coats of Mequires liquid Gold Class wax applied by hand ( I will NEVER do that again!) The car looks that good due to a low res camera at 30 feet. If you saw it in person, up close, I'd be arrested for paint neglect:D. Robert
