Meguiar's or Lake Country 5" Backing Plate?

I just got a great deal on the Mequiar's G110v2, so now I will need to find out what accessories to get. I was told the 5" backing plate was the best way to go, so which one is better? Is the Lake Country more flexible? Thanks.

What a deal!! I wasn't planning on getting a DA polisher, but ...

Oh, Ok. I appreciate the info. I may get a few that fit this to start off with. I believe I will need 6.5" for the stock backplate. I figure I might as well use it if I already have it.

What a deal!! I wasn't planning on getting a DA polisher, but ...

Sweet. I haven't looked up everything on it yet, but you made that easy. I love my electronic devices and power tools. It looks like I may be an autogeek before it is over. This is just going to add many more items to my autogeek wishlist. My wife is going to hate that part.

What a deal!! I wasn't planning on getting a DA polisher, but ...

I was originally not going to get a DA polisher since I am not sure how much I will use one. I started reading a few posts on this forum and many of you recommend them. I just wasn't sure if I would use one enough to spend that kind of money. I was out today and saw an open box Meguiar's...

What is the best way to remove bugs from the front of the vehicle? In the past I just used a soapy sponge and high pressure sprayer. I want to do things the right way to prevent swirls. Sent from Android via TapaTalk 2.

Basic items to start off with for proper washing

Thanks guys. Should I go for the waffle weave on drying towels? I looked at the cobra guzzler, but I don't know the differences in towels. I looked at grit guards and they make sense. Which detailing brushes would be good to start out?

Basic items to start off with for proper washing

So I have basically not done a proper hand wash. In fact, I have mainly been using the touchless washes every now and then. I plan to start taking better care of the paint now that we have a new car. What are basic supplies I should get to get started? I currently have a large sponge, but I...

How do I get a tough stain out of carpet??

Thank you very much for your help. My wife says these colored drink stains have been there for a long time (over a year), so they are baked in over two summers. She said she tried various cleaners not long after it happened, but they didn't come out. Ill keep this Folex handy for any future...

How do I get a tough stain out of carpet??

It seems that one of my kids spilled a blue drink on one side of the van while another spilled a red drink on the other side. When the drinks spilled, it ran all the way up to the front row seating from the second row when the brakes were applied. My wife said she tried using our steamvac from...

I have a neglected Van I need to get back in shape

It is the touchless type autowash. Do those wear it down as well? I didn't think about swirl removal, so I guess I'm looking at spending a little more money. Sent from Android via TapaTalk 2.
