On my car we have a special made compound for polishing, for sealing I layer blackfire wet diamond and collonite I use them because they are proven to be good products and trust them for the same reason.

I contacted them with similar questions as well... in the videos it seems pretty amazing if nothing else for car interiors and brake dust prone rims!

To back up everyone else here very thin application is key! Another thread on here talks all about applying 845 and one tip is if you're not sure that there is enough on the pad to keep going press your pad against a clean window and if you see a pad imprint of residue youre still good so keep...

This worked out very well still had to handbuff a few small spots but 4" pad ended up being a life saver.

We use the elastifoam kit at our shop and it's great! Makes claying much faster and it passes the plastic bag test to, but if a car is really heavily contaminated I will still use clay.

Also, I prefer to start with the least aggressive product and work my way up so I don't have to spend hours trying to fix my test spot.

best way to tell if it's clearcoated is looking under the hood/trunk if its hazy or flat yes it's clearcoated.
