    Rupes Bigfoot Nano iBrid accessories

I've also seen a picture floating around with someone rocking 5 or more batteries on a belt bandolier style so they don't have to leave the work space to swap them out LOL

    Rupes Bigfoot Nano iBrid accessories

We have a couple of customers who have adopted 3 and 4 battery rotations in their shops. Its just insurance for when you don't remember to put the battery you just took out on the charger. AG has access to the batteries so I would recommend the OP contact them and make the request - I'm sure...

Rupes 15 MK2 trigger hold button

Sounds good. I suspect its actually the trigger itself, not the lock. There is a little part on the trigger that engages with the lock when its pressed. If its slightly out of spec or just misaligned I could see it causing the issue you're seeing. In any event we'll fix it FOC when you're ready...

VERY Unhappy with Rupes Customer Service. Has anyone experienced this before?

It hasn't been fully announced because we are still getting all the various aspects of our manufacturing here online, but as of last month all ES tools (15 and 21) for the US market are assembled in our Longmont Colorado facility and we are working towards having the entire family of tools...

Rupes 15 MK2 trigger hold button

Shoot an email to [email protected] and we'll get you a return ticket to get it looked at - probably something very simple and could be fixed and back to you the same day we receive it here.

VERY Unhappy with Rupes Customer Service. Has anyone experienced this before?

We handle repairs for all of north America here in Colorado - the product sold in Canada even ships from our facilities here. Get in touch with us via the email I provided earlier and we can take care of it. Again Jason Rose is in no way involved with anything other than training internationally...

VERY Unhappy with Rupes Customer Service. Has anyone experienced this before?

Thats unfortunate, but if you recall you didn't make any attempt to call - when I gave you my availability you stated there wasn't a reason to discuss it. Just based on the posts you continue to make its clear you still have some unresolved issue with us that I'd like to address if you'd give me...

Have a problem with a RUPES polisher or product?

Since it seems to continue to be a point of confusion for people here on AGO I am creating this thread in the hopes people will seek it out when there are issues. In March of 2015 RUPES SpA of Milan, Italy acquired Cyclo Toolmakers of Longmont, Colorado. The result was the formation of a...

VERY Unhappy with Rupes Customer Service. Has anyone experienced this before?

You keep chiming in with these kinds of comments - however when I asked you to contact me in private to elaborate you declined. Would still love to know exactly how our 'non-existent' customer service disappointed you and if this happened when the only contacts for the company were in Italy or...

VERY Unhappy with Rupes Customer Service. Has anyone experienced this before?

Sorry to hear about your disappointment - sounds like you may be going down the wrong path though and if you could please let me know what distributor you purchased your tool through I'd appreciate it, b/c it sounds like they've given you incorrect information. RUPES acquired Cyclo Toolmakers...

Rupes 15 MK2 trigger hold button

If I'm understanding this correctly - when you press the trigger lock button the tool stops? or the trigger lock simply isn't working?

    Mark II 15

Correct. The stock plate for the Mark II tools maintains all the lateral engagement strength of the previous generation, but reduces the sheer (peel) strength so the pads aren't so hard to remove as they were on the ES tool standard plates.

Are Rupes polishers tough or easy to get broken?

A good amount of times its user error, but not all... the biggest issue is how people treat them. We get tools in for repair that look like they've been dragged behind a car and used to pound in nails and the customers are upset when we tell them we can warranty that kind of abuse. Like...

Are Rupes polishers tough or easy to get broken?

The build quality of our tools is very high, and while some might try to say otherwise the statistics on failure per units in the market is extremely low - it is however a plastic tool, so if you drop it things will break. That being said we offer full factory level support here in the US for...

Differences between Rupes Nano Long Neck and Short Neck?

The more time I spend with them I tend to like the short neck version better. Just feels a little more maneuverable and precise, but thats really splitting hairs. They both perform the same, just comes down to whether you want the extended reach of the long neck or not.

starting to regret my Mark 2 purchase

The eventual conclusion - technique adjustment fixes all. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/rupes-bigfoot-oribital-polishers/101894-wow-i-love-my-rupes-mk2-again.html Only sharing here in case anyone stumbles on this thread, but doesn't find the result thread. Cheers!

WOW I LOVE my Rupes mk2 again!!! :)

Glad to hear it! Thanks for updating us.

    Mark II 15

Technically the one on the left would be OLD OLD - that was original OEM equipment on tools manufactured before July 2014. After that they featured a more oblong pin engagement like is pictured on the right, but with the blue ring. The one on the right would be the very latest generation that...
