Cost to paint BMW front bumper

Awesome. Reason #187 of why I should have waited to just buy an M3. Yeah, not going to go the Maaco route on this go around, thank you for the painting estimate. The bumper has primer-coat on it from the company I bought it from. Basically it's flat black, car is graphite metallic (same...

Cost to paint BMW front bumper

Thanks for the reply Ryan. Yeah definately OEM paint because I want to keep it looking stock and everything matching. $600 was about what I had figured as a baseline as well. The car is three years old (wow I can't believe its already been 3 years), do you recomend them getting "eyes-on" the...

Cost to paint BMW front bumper

Hey guys, Bought an M Tech front bumper for my E92. Was seeing what you guys thought would be a reasonable price to have a reputable body shop do the paint job on it? (currently in Augusta, GA) The company I bought it from online had already put primer coat on it, but I don't know if the body...

Long Term Review Spar vs Opti Pro **PICS**

Ok so just to ensure I get this right...when you say "stage to stage" are you referring to each grit you're going to use during the wet sand? So i.e., stage 1, sand in one direction with 1000 grit, stage 2 sand in opposite direction with 2000 grit, stage 3 sand in opposite of stage 2 with 3000...

Car looks showroom! Great job! (Side note, what are we looking at in picture 4 below the passenger side view mirror? Heavy swirling? Scratches/marring? CC failure?)

Can I ruin my paint with a DA Polisher?

I had the same fears when I started as well. Look up on here, or on YouTube, Mike's definition of a "section pass". Stick to that, inspect your results, and if you're not satisfied, do another section pass. Based on what pads you have to compliment the Meg's 205 (or 105), you'll not want to...

    Paint-Coated, Trim-Coated, Wheels-Coated... '14 Optima SX-L New Car Prep

Couldn't agree with you more! I'm a part-timer but the group of clients I do have have a new found love and respect for their cars when I'm done. It's definitely satisfying.

    Paint-Coated, Trim-Coated, Wheels-Coated... '14 Optima SX-L New Car Prep

Nice work man, good to see more and more owners from Kia's to Ferrari's hiring detailers for new car prep. Owners taking care of their cars, detailers getting paid-- good stuff.

    Silly Question....

I'm born and raised Miami, FL. Never had an issue with storing products in the garage, in a plastic container OR up on shelves (I do both). You should be fine. I'm currently in GA, that's a different story with the cold!

That's what's up! I usually layer by hand but machine first then by hand is solid. Gonna have to try that next time I apply it. Thanks Jank...
