    Backing Plate Melting

I Think Flex should take the comments here and improve their product. It's clear that there is a heating issue that causes backing plates to melt down. As much as i want to get one... i will wait for an improved version. I don't wanna spend my money for changing backing plates faster than i...

    Land Rover Discovery (2004)

This car has never been polished/waxed. Full with heavy swirls + many RIDS. - Washed - Clay (Pinnacle) - M105 / LC Yellow (one side) - Menzerna Power gloss (one side) - Meg's D300 / MF Cutting - Menzerna SF4000 - Optimum Opti-seal

    M105 vs D300

    #3 suppose the least agressive

    How to remove these scratches!?

Either go with LC Yellow pad (which is very aggressive) Or as mentioned - MF cutting pad if it's just one little RIDS, my suggestion is let it stay, so you can keep you clear coat thicker..

    Dream trio - first encounter

I Actually found out that on a VW Golf, Meg's DA MF correction System provided surprising results (As you can see in the attached picture). Also , i would be wise to take Mike's approach and do a test spot with the least abrasive product/pad. I would do a test spot with PF2500 on an orange...

Removing Swirls out of Cermaiclear Paint

Looks great Mike! So what Pad/Product did you use? From my short expiriance, i found that removing Swirls is the easier part on these hard German cars, The problem is that once swirls are removed, a new "layer" of RIDS is relieved. In the attached picture you can see a black VW Golf after...

Opti-Coat - will it help my soft paint become a bit harder?

Hi Mike & everyone, My Subaru Impreza (2004) has very soft paint and picks up swirls easily. they are easy to remove (Menz 106 & LC grey pad quickly clears it up). I'm wondering if Opti coat will help the paint get a little harder and pickup less swirls.

Thanks! :) yeah , haze.. the picture is before i used Menzerna Super finish -PO106FA with LC finishing pad. the D301 & finishing pad didn't do the trick.. i wish i had the DA MF system the first time i did this car! i could have saved me a lot of time

LC CCS Yellow pads - Does any one use them?

OK! Good thing to know! i never guessed you could actually burn through pain with a DA When i tried mine, with menzerna power gloss (Compound) i could hear that it sound stronger than anything i heard before.. and i actually used it very carefully.

Nissan 350Z (Black) Heavy Swirls & Scratches - Cannot remove all

As i said... DA MF system is the best. so easy to use & delivers outstanding results. That said, Cutting is great. in case of finishing, on VW gold it finished much better, on the Nissan i actually used Menzerna SF4000 which gave a much better finish.
