Congrats on the new vehicle! Agree with Matt, a good inspection will let you know if there is any current damage. As far as preventative, frequent washing with good washing techniques followed up with quality waxes and sealants is my advice. Enjoy the new Jeep!
I struggled with it too. I knew I wasn't going to be using it much. But I really like the quality and I figured the extra money would be worth it to have a reliable steamer well into the future. If you can swing it, I would go with it. I'm glad I did.
I have the vx5000. I have only used it about a dozen times, but I love it. Very good quality. I researched a lot of them before I purchased and the VX5000 stood out for me.
Before I had a heated garage I kept some products outside in the garage and they were damaged by the cold. So, I would definitely suggest bringing them in!
I liked it. Music is fine IMO. I noticed the black panels on the left with the wording kinda blocked some of the pics too. Maybe you could have them pop up from the bottom? Not a big deal though. I agree with the folks that said mixing the work sounds in was cool. Good job.
Re: What was your very frist car you owned?
1979 Ford Pinto. Orange! My parents bought it new off the show room floor, I got it in '89/'90.....Impossible to look cool in that thing, no matter how many times I detailed it!
