The pads I currently have for my Flex 3401 is the Lake country CCS 6.5" pads 3 orange, 3 white, black, blue, red. Before I put in a order for new pads, I have a few questions. What pads work best with the Flex 3401? Do I order more 6.5" pads or go with 4" backing plate and order a new set of...

The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Just a wash with foam cannon and 2 buckets finished with quick detailer. This coming weekend will be my first full detail and this Tahoe is 3rd in line. I need to get a couple easy cars under my belt first, this one is going to be a challenge (swirls all around with light scratches here and there).

    Microfiber towels

Do you wash all your MF towels in 1 load? Or do you seperate the polish, wax, drying and interior towels in different loads? Also what is the all around best way to wash them. I ordered the "perfect microfiber starter kit" and it comes with a Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenator. I currently have...

some help and advice for beginner

At the moment my intention is to work on my car and family cars. When I start to get more experience and feel comfortable, I might start detailing on the weekends for extra cash. Thank you for the advice on MF towels and interior cleaners. I might need to wait a few more weeks to order the...

some help and advice for beginner

Thank you. Hopefully by the end of the year when my Cadillac ATS lease is over, I will be the owner of a 2015 Mustang GT w/ Performance pack. My wife thinks that is the reason i'm getting back into washing the cars myself and she's probably right. I'm going to give Menzerna and wolfgang stuff a try.

Thanks for letting me know about this. I checked out the dates and the soonest I can make it out will be next month and even then I can not commit 100% with work in woodland hills and Meguairs open garage in Irvine starting at 5:15pm.

My plan is to do my first full detail this weekend on a White 09 Toyota Camry. It has never been detailed and seen anything more then a regular car wash. I have my mind set to order the Flex 3401 intro kit offered in the "special values" category on AG. GG6 polisher is a strong 2nd assuming my...

    Polisher for beginner

Thank you. The GG6 is the one I have decided to go wtih. I tried to get info on the MT300 and could not find much feedback from users. The Meg MT300 does look more comfortable to use but the GG6 is proven.

    Polisher for beginner

I'll look into the mt300 thank you. I did read alot of negative stuff about CG customer service but really nothing bad about the products they offer. They are a local company, customer service should be better face to face then email or by phone if anything did go wrong.

    Polisher for beginner

Thank you. Does flex make any models that are good for beginers? looking for somthing thats alittle more forgiving to avoid messing up the paint if I make a noob mistake. I really like the price point of the GG6 but if couple of hundred can give me the best results and save me more time, I might...
