    How to store your tools

I use a large duffle bag I have had for years. I have my Rupes 21, PC, Griots 3", and CG blower all stored in it. I have a very thick hard ABS plastic lining the bottom and then a foam insert to cushion the tools. All of it zips up has a durable carry strap. It's done the job for me and keeps...

    Opti-Coat... need info from experience...

You can but it will not last for very long. The properties in the coating are really great. If you're wanting that very slick just waxed feel then you'll be doing that a lot more often. I'd opt to a Spray Wax if so but it's not needed.

Why you Should Seal Your Glass

One is a coating which last much longer than the sealant.

Up Close & Personal: Sonax Perfect Finish

Great review, Nick! That price point is somewhat daunting even to someone who COULD justify spending the coin/using that amount of product. I've heard great things about it but, like you, I'm a tough sell as well when I'm getting crazy results with m205/Meg's polishing MF disc. Not bashing but...

    The Hard Fact of Life....vent....

Motivation. I have a good feeling you have it. You have to really dig down and hustle. You will really learn a lot about yourself through out these times. I'm speaking from experience so I know how it feels. The only thing you can do is stay positive, surround yourself with people who believe in...

What sneakers do you wear ?

lol shoes and me have problems. I'm a super impulse buyer with shoes. I have some from a year ago that have been worn maybe twice. The normal rotation is Nike free 4.0 x2, Nike air max, Nike lunar glide 4, and puma's FAAS 300's I'm a Nike and puma guy myself. If I had to pick, Nike Free.

What to use on inner wheel well?

Bare bones is what my clients get. The stuff is ridiculously awesome at making it look great and repelling dirt for a good while. Hyper dressing on the other hand I find attracts dirt like a mofo.

    Towel storage for mobile detailers?

Plastic totes with drawers for me. When they are done being used they go in my fold up hamper I got at the dollar store for a couple of bucks. Bought 5 of them and they have been amazing and they look much better than a trash bag so you can set it next to your project and not have to leave.

    meg's MF pads are crap?!

I have release day pads that are still going strong. The aforementioned comments about using too much product, not changing often, not cleaning frequently are all spot on. After the pad is primed, I use two pea sized drops for a section and it cuts pretty damn flawless. I have had my fair share...

What's the standard for a 32' RV - wash/wax & interior clean up / wipe down/ and vacuum? Got a couple of jobs lined up possibly but want to make sure I'm not under charging.

How to achieve mirror polish on bare aluminum wheels

Totally agree. But some expirimenting has lead to the best inventions/outcomes. Just some devils advocate but your advice, Forest, is spot on what I've dealt with and experienced.

    No Rinse Waterless Wash Advice

I would first treat any car that hasn't had a thorough detail with a good citrus wash to cleanse the finish. Then I would clay and polish if needed. Once ready, IPA, and then wax/seal. After that I would keep up with regular ONRWW and top with a spray wax of desired.

    Detail: Jeep Rubicon

He said it's definitely fun off road and holds her own for sure! The clear wasn't that bad actually. Only a hand full of spots needed to be hit with D300. Thanks, Chris! I wish a lot of folks took care of their cars better as well. But then again, maybe I'm secretly glad...

    Detail: Turbo Escalade on 26's

Very close friend of mine that I have always taken care of his rides. This one is particularly my favorite for obvious reasons. Didn't take very many pics as it was more of a favor than anything. Wasn't too terrible but having overhauled the engine, turbo, and interior...it had some signs of...
