Too oily. Skip them. You don't need a primer polish. If you do use Essence be sure to panel prep wipe it. Same goes for Q2 primer.

CQuartz UK 3.0 on new car - Need help with supply checklist!

True and some do a better hob if this. For the op the ease of simplicity having only one product with various pads would be easier than having multiple bottles. I am not a fan of griot's polishes. Someone sent me samples some time ago and they ended up in the garbage. Perfect Finish which...

CQuartz UK 3.0 on new car - Need help with supply checklist!

DIY Detail Gold Standard Polish. Pad dependent. Invest in their waffle and wool pads. Use my code MIKEGDIY to order directly from DIY. Skip hyper compound. Has a horrible finish.

Do me a favor and try Mohs Evo. You will be much happier not having to apply multiple layers of a coating. Depends on the coating. Gyeon Evo is now one layer for all their coatings other than Syncro Evo. Cquartz recommends two. Do you need two? That is up to you. The reason they...

Keep in mind that CarPro recommends two layers. Doesn’t mean you have to but if you want the max durability with it then two is the same ah to go. CQUK is not slick. Hopefully it comes with Reload 2.0.

Does your Ibird Nano get smoking hot?

No problems with mine getting hot. The speed controller on mine went out and Rupes repaired it for me under their $95 repair service. They covered shipping. A quick turn around as well.

Nice. Be sure to apply more coating in that area as Essence more than likely removed more than what you think.

30 ml is typically enough for just the paint on those two of either coating. You will use about 25 ml of Cquartz UK for one car applying two layers. First timers may use the entire the 30 ml bottle as they tend to go a bit heacy. A 50ml bottle of Mohs Evo is enough to put one layer on each...

Seeing oyu are in Australia I believe you can get these brands at a similar cost in the states. CarPro SiC Gyeon Mohs Evo Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light topped with Exo V5. SiC is the slickest of all these. Mohs Evo would be the next one. Mohs would be the easier of the two to apply. If...

Are you looking for a multi year coating (3, 5) or something less (1, 2) to decide if a coating is right for you? Is slickness important to you? CanCoat is a good gateway option to get into coatings.

Full car paint correction and Xpel PPF... Now what? Ceramic?

That is all you need to do. Use the advanced coating and skip the spray coating. One layer is all you need.

Looks good. Glad to have helped. High spots happen. The good thing is they are easily fixed. I would have told you to do one layer and be done.

DLUX is grabby by nature upon wipe off and tacky after. Does not need to sit long before it can be wiped off. Diffused lighting is key as well rather than a bright light.
