That's the thing, I can't tell what it is, which is why I was asking if anyone's detailed one of these yet. It's definitely not alcantara. As killrwheels said, it seems like it's leather with a plasticky coating on it or else like a synthetic leather. I'll see if I can get some pics.

My girlfriend has a 2007 Hyundai Tiburon GT, and it's got the "leather" and sport cloth seats. It's starting to show the leather shine on the outside edge of the bottom of the seat, and it's just dirty in general, plus it's getting a little hard on the tops of the rear seats from teh sun...
