I am using a Megs W-4000 wool pad. The first time I used it I did spur it, but I did not put the pad in a cleaner. Mikes suggestion of using the grit guard then spuring the pad will be the next method I use. Thanks for the reply

High quality production detailing by Mike Phillips

Mike (and anyone else), Do you believe that the Flex 3403 could do the same job as the 3401? My understanding is that 3403 is a FORCED rotary. As many other have stated throughout the forum, a forced action circular rotary will provide a better ability to remove scratches vs a DA polisher...

Video: Speedy Prep Towel in use

Mike, When you are done with usage of the nanoskin, how do you store and clean the pad? I know traditionally with other pads (such as a lake county pad) you would us DP's pad rejuvenator to remove the dried on compounds & polish. Would you do the same thing with the nanoskin pad? My fear...

How to remove water spots by hand

Thanks for the article. Leads me to my next question. In my city we have terribly hard water. Every time I get out the two buckets to wash down cars, there is always hard water stains left on the cars. Because of this I try to avoid using running water to wash cars. I love ONR, but in the...

    Rinseless Wash & Road Salt?

I am a mobile detailer and am looking for options to wash cars. Just bought some rinseless wash. Does anyone have experience with rinseless wash and road salt? I would believe that road salt would need something stronger (such as a power wash) to agitate it enough to loosen all the road...
