If you had to choose and use one of these the Torq 22D or the Flex xc3401 vrg, Which one would you choose to use? I just detail for my self, and family and friends. So I really just want one machine. So I'm trying to pick one out of those two and send the other back, they are still in the boxes.

Has anyone tried the chemical guys v line of polished to remove scratches caused by wet sanding?, I got ahold of some, and dont know how well they are going to work.

The deep scratch will be filled with bondo, then primer, then paint ,and clear coat, so would the foot and foot and a half?

Thanks, I just bought a flex xc3401vrg, would it be to aggressive to wet sand with that flex, or should I just wet sand by hand? Where do I get a thickness gauge?

After I repair scratch,(small. about quarter inch long) on the tip of my hood,and apply clear, when or if I wet sand how much of the area around the repair do I wet sand? Hopefully not the whole hood.
