2 paragraph Nanoskin fine Autoscrub pad review

Nice write up. Clay alternatives are amazing and the Autoscrub is my favorite one, by far. The Autoscrub 6" pads with the Autoscrub towels will basically cover all of your bases.

    Go easy on me......

Great work, man! And all with a PCXP. Let this thread be a lesson to all those who say the Porter Cable can't correct.

    can these headlights be saved?

They don't look bad at all. Super easy to restore, although I'm not a fan of headlight restoration kits. Wet sad 1000 grit, then 1500, then 2000. Use a good polish on it like M205. Throw on your favorite LPS. Boom! You're done.

Taxes- TurboTax or Professional for 1st year?

Doing a BMW i3 on Thursday

We have shot and tested the i3 many times. I've done write-ups and data-mined the car to hell and back. Despite the visual appearance, the body lines are actually quite less complex than a lot of modern vehicles out there today. There's nothing to watch out for here. No fragile parts or...

    2001 NSX Overhaul

Looks great. Love the first-gen NSX. As soon as I find one that isn't molested (which is relatively hard to find), I'm picking it up.

    DA Recommended Passes

It's depended on the state of the surface, but I generally do 4-6 cross passes for compound and polish and 2-3 for wax/sealant.

    Car damaged by "professional" detailers

Holy poop! Wow. I mean, wow. That's just embarrassing. Who did it and how much did you pay?

Experienced opinions needed - Paint correction problems

Do you have any pics of the paint before you started? The pitting looks like water mark etching. Was there a lot of water marks before you started?

Recent Sale Prices for XMT & DP...

Can't wait to see what happens. I've never really been a fan of the XMT line. I was a fan of DP for a while, but competing products have generally pushed all of my DP product to the back of my shelves. Excited to see some sort of change here.

Which product do you use the most?

This is easy for me. Meguiar's D101, D108, and Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash (ONR before that).

Key scratch on '15 Prius, how to repair

If the damage is deep enough, on enough panels, and the cost of repainting is much greater than your deductible (which is very likely is), I would go through insurance. No doubt about it. That's the entire point of having car insurance. To insure against cowardly acts like this.

    Microfiber care before wash?

Yeah, something I don't take into consideration is what they were used for. Whether it has a certain product in them or not, I just group them together. It's probably not the best practice, but I agree with you. It's better than letting them marinade dry for days.

Need a fairly durable AIO...help me out!

HD Speed. Good balance between correction and protection. Real easy to work with as well. Like, real easy. You can use it as an LPS with no need for further protection as that is what an AIO is suppose to provide.

    Microfiber care before wash?

Umm, washing 3 or 4 towels at a time in a washer is no where near productive, practical, or economical, so your way isn't for me, but I appreciate the feedback.

    Microfiber care before wash?

Nope. Only talking about mf towels.

    Microfiber care before wash?

I'm not a fan of running the washer for just a handful of microfiber towels, so I let them build up a little bit so I can wash one significant load. When you guys are done with your dirtied up microfiber towels directly after use, what do you do with them between that time and when you wash...

    Throw LC pads away?

Clean them out the way you would after every use, then evaluate whether or not they're done.
