It will work....but not as good as the HD. I continue to use the Supreme in conjunction with the HD. It usually comes out when I make the final pass. Mirrors, drips, touch up the windows etc. The HD really cuts down on drying time thanks to the absorbency. Hope this helps.

I would check out the DP 4 in 1 Wash & Gloss. Depending on how would dilute it, it can be a QD (which is pretty decent), clay lube, water conditioner, and car wash. Since it is a 32oz bottle at $15.99, it is a pretty good value. I mist my vehicle with the QD mix right before drying....works...

I dont really use a flooding method per-se. I usually just rinse with the shower setting on my nozzle. The angle of the hood may have something to do with the sheeting action. Whereas the roof is flatter and alot of the beading you see is on the sunroof. Not sure what kind of wax is on the car...
