Have you actually cleaned the wiper blades? Take a towel with your choice of cleaner and squeeze the blades and run the towel along the blade. If they're really dirty (which is most of the time) then the gunk and dirt will act as abrasives when running along your glass so that it doesn't glide...
Of the few towels that I do have, I have the Dry Me Crazy. It's extremely soft to the touch.. but... its the only towel where I have noticed it leaving swirls!!! Noticed it after washing a black bike that I polished, and also tested it out on a CD and it scratched that also.
I'm surprised no one has recommended checking it out at a gas station at night. I can see plenty of defects in my Taffeta White Acura at the gas station with no problem.
I haven't gotten many towels that I absolutely love yet (I don't have that many, compared to you guys at least), but I want to warn you guys about the RED 300 GSM Eurows (I got them from Amazon). I got interested in them because I thought they were the ones that Larry@AMMO uses.
While they...
I'm a Japanese car fan but I've always had a soft spot for Porsches, especially Larry@AMMO's!
I would definitely write a review! Already got some ideas for lights!
I see that you're in San Antonio as well. Do you ever wash cars with hose/running water out in the drive way? How do you deal with run off? If so, do people ever give you crap about SAWS and stuff?
I work in a restaurant and run caterings in my personal car. Sometimes the catering client will meet me at my car to pick up the food where they have to sign the receipt.. Guess where the first place they put the receipt followed by the pen is?!?!?!
What dilution and how does she "rinse" it off? I want my girlfriend to start using OPC to clean around our apartment because she loves using expensive Lysol wipes. I'm just a bit weary since Optimum recommends that OPC be rinsed off.
Nice! Whats your preference on "rinsing" the wash mitt of dirt? Squeezing, rubbing against the grit guard, or spraying it with the hose?
Also, have you tested it out with rinseless washes?
I'm not exactly sure how the water tanks work (haven't looked into them). But I imagine you can get a water heater thats used for aquariums/fish tanks to place in the water tank to keep the water at a desired temperature.
