    Microfiber and ceramics

I have not used many ceramic products but curious about washing microfiber after ceramics sealants and other spray ceramic infused products. Given many of the reviews use chemical resistance as a durability, I question if traditional wash methods remove ceramic residue. This would be...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Pressure washer repair update - I changed the oil a couple of times to flush out milky and did a test. It works! In order to get access to pump, I had to remove hose reel. I almost want to leave it off but the connection to pump is not robust for standalone use.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

A new seal kit arrived and started to work on re-assembling it. I watched youtube videos but all seem to cover a later model so not 100% clear. It did not help that the parts diagram provided with the kit did not match my unit exactly (part not show) and what is listed in my owner's manual...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I attempted to repair my Kranzel pressure washer. I have water in the oil so need to replace the water seals. They can dry out in 10 years and when I took it appear the seals were clearly not seating (stretched). I ordered a seal kit and took it apart (not difficult) but disovered I ordered...

Negative effects of spreading dumb disinformation…

I asked the DIY team to provide evidence of scratches by pressure washer and they used the "experience" card. Sure. a PW can damage paint if you hold the tip close.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I finally tested out my new (at Christmas) form cannon to see to be sure it works before I wash something. I experimented by CG Honeydew at around 1:4 in bottle. I believe I can use a lower dilution. Foam seemed good for the wash in a day or so.

    what's your weather currently like?

42 this am and frost warning for tomorrow morning. April 20 is supposedly the last mean day of frost/freezing. I will do a hose wash on Friday since temps will be around 60 in the morning.

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

I did a rinseless wash a couple of days ago with some older products (Meg's rinseless - yes old) and ONR. I let the after wash solution sit and it did finally separate (encapsulation). I also did a pre-spray with ONR.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I was at Walmart to get some motor oil so browsed the detailing section. It sure has expanded. Chemical Guys claims a significant part of the shelf space. The CG product labeling is "loud" but somewhat hard to read at a glance. Mothers has lost a lot of shelf space with just a few products.

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

I assumed LC did that in house but never really thought it was much of a new "technology" by putting depressions (somewhat inconsistently at times) in the foam. I felt it was more a gimmick to make theirs different from flat foam.

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

When ONR first came me out, it was known for staining and there was a lot of discussion since microfiber tended to be the most used type wash media then, The GDWM was one result. No one seemed to prove that it caused issues. These reviews like Mr G. notes differences with sponge (rinsing, drag)...

what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

It just seems like marketing when you supposedly apply a durable coating but then have to use additional products to actually achieve marketing expectations.. One might as well just use a lower priced product and apply often for similar amount of effort in the end.

Pan the Organizer product line...let's discuss@

For the work we had done, it was more contract assembly. Polishers would be similar. If you had the volumes you got dedicated space. If not, once they built your order quantity, they removed the work instructions hanging at each postion and whatever fixtures were needed then redo with new...
