Cleaner wax will likely soften it right up and it will easily wipe away. It has always worked for me.

This works for all dried wax! Anytime you see that you might have an "oops, missed a spot" even if its a few weeks later, take a little fresh wax and it will loosen it right up and wipe away very easily.

+1 I find this especially true when its hot and humid, I really like 105 but it can be very finicky when conditions are less than favorable...

Glazes are great for SS paints, these paints often dry out and really benefit from the oils in glazes. As Bobby G said be sure you put a top coat over a glaze for protection.

Thats a pretty strong dilution ratio, on a fairly clean interior 10;1 is generally sufficient. I use 4;1 on my tires and wheel wells... Also be careful spraying OPC diluted at any ratio on leather as it will streak and spot is not careful.

A pink or white pencil eraser will take wax right off trim...

+1, not so much the heat as it is the humidity. I hate detailing when it's humid. I would 3rd the aid of a QD for removal or use a different AIO .

I learned on a Milwaukee rotary about 15 years ago, it was heavy as hell and only had one speed, it was very smooth tho and easy to feather the power with on delicate surfaces, nice machines.

Good ol Tuff Stuff foaming spray will also work on vinyl seats and surfaces. This cheap stuff is still one of my favorite interiors cleaners, for light vinyl, carpet and upholstery cleaning its tough to beat.

That alone is a deal breaker IMO...

I currently have the Makita and have really been thinking about getting a Flex both for the lighter weight plus the ergonomics of the unit really looks great. Any users out their that possibly have experience using both that can compare the 2?

You got that right Mike, for the weekend warrior you'll feel like you got your ass kicked the next day. I don't remember it being so rough on me when I did it for a living, but I was younger then too, lol

I would agree with this too, I am comfortable with and prefer to use a rotary but picked up a Flex DA just to try one out and a rotary is much easier to control and a hell of a lot faster with correction too. Personally, I think there's a lot of great detailers on this site who fear the rotary...

Wash, Dry, QD and done.

As stated, that paint is past the point of return, wash it, clean the wheels and interior and call it good.

I use a soft microfiber and some interior dressing, always does a good job of cleaning instrument cluster lens IMO
