    Best for short term pop?

I've never had the first problem with #7 being hard to use, in fact I would say the complete opposite. When applied thin over a freshly or recenly corrected suface and allowed to dry I find it to be extremely easy to use

    Best for short term pop?

In my experience #7 works great adding pop to any finish short term, and while I have topped 26 with 7 I have not tried mixing them, cool idea! :xyxthumbs:

    Not happy with Griots/Menz result...

So why not switch to a less aggressive polish and a finishing pad on the rotary, an "expert" should be able to finish hologram free with a machine... Also, You say you used a black pad, which brand? And not to question your technique or abilities but why run the machine at such a low RPM for...

First time detailing with a Hitachi SP18VA... any advice?

Not much can be added to this, well said. Don't fear the rotary, they're really not the gnarly paint buring beast everyone makes them out to be, a little common sense goes a long way with using a rotary. If your serious about doing correction then I highly recommend learning to use a rotary...

    Drying Towels

I use my Absorber on my windows and my ww towels on my paint. I will say I say that I just recently started using ww towels and for YEARS used the just Absorber and loved it. Rarely do I not use a QD and a microfiber after washing so a streak here and there really isn't an issue for me.

Call them, let them know your gonna have to cancel your service if they can't come down on the price. Let them know what you were initially quoted, I've done the same thing with comcast, my bill when from $170 a month to $108 a month and my service did not change. Its amazing what a phone call...
