    Brinkman Light

I decided to see how long a full charge would last since I turned it on the other day and it was almost dead. I let it sit on the charger for a full day, then locked it on and timed it. A full charge lasted maybe an hour if that. I test all my flashlights this way. Never know when you are...

    Brinkman Light

How long does a typical full charge on the Brinkman Maxfire Dual Xenon last? I checked mine out the other day and it last a hour tops with the trigger on the constant. IMO that is not enough on a flashlight. My other LED flashlights last at least 8-10 hours on a single 18650 or dual CR123s...

    Pad Suggestions Please

And what would make him uncomfortable using MF pads versus foam pads? Other then heavy heavy defects the MF system can finish down in 2 steps. If anything, using M105 can be a bear with it's very long learning curve. I don't know how many threads I have seen people complaining about the short...

    Pad Suggestions Please

To keep it simple, I would probably do the Meguiars MF kit.

    How to properly clean pads?

At the end of the day, I spray mine down with Megs APC+, then work it in and rinse with water thoroughly. Then spin it on the DA at the highest setting to get rid of the water that wasn't squeezed out. LSP pads I don't clean as they are very hydrophobic. I just usually throw those in a...

Immaculate Reflections - Lexus IS250 Scotch-Brite damage restored with a full correction

Great job as always. This has to be one of the best saves I have seen in a while.... I would hate the one to see the bill of a 52 hour correction!

Nano Skin Vs Speedy Prep Towel

I use the towel with ONR. And I would never go back to using a clay bar. If there was one step that I could not stand doing, it was claying a entire car down. With the towel, it has cut it down at least 70% of the time compared to clay.

    Clay & Clay Experiment

After using the Speedy Prep towel, no more need for clay. It turned my most hated thing to do into something very easy and not as time consuming.

What's a good one step AIO Polish?

Used XMT360 this weekend and wasn't all that impressed. About the only thing it did was to take the light oxidation off the black 4 Runner I was working on. It didn't do much with the swirls at all. I was better off going with something like M205 and a LSP right afterwords. It would have...

    IPA after 85RD???

Mike, would you do a chemical wipe down with either IPA or CarPro Eraser if you were going to Opti Coat the car? I believe SF4500 doesn't say anything to chemically cleaning the paint before a LSP. I just wanted to make sure before I do this black Vette and I usually finish polishing a car...

Collinite #845: The Definitive How-To Guide For This Legendary Wax

It doesn't really matter. Just as long as the pad has little no cutting ability, you should be good to go. I keep my LSP pads separated by the product being used. Collinite 845, on a red CCS, BFWD on a white CCS, and WGDGPSV3 on a red hydrotech pad.

Attention all new businesses and soon to be businesses

Preach on brotha! This past week, on another forum that I am on, this guy comes onto a forum showing off his work. Being local to me, I PMed him about what other type of work does he do. I explained to him that me and several other friends are looking for a reliable person to take work to...
