In my case, I'm in the Philippines, there's no access to DA polishers here. If there is, it's still probably cheaper to get one from the U.S. and have it shipped here. I'm still waiting for mine though, purchased it last January.

The reason I asked is because I also have a Griot's coming but I haven't bought a transformer yet. I hope it's just the transformer that's the problem in your case.

Did you use a step-down transformer or an automatic voltage regulator?

Was able to call customer service and make adjustments to the order, swapped the 25-foot cord with the standard one. Asked about the mystery box and the free sample and rep said he'll take care of it. It's now shipped but sadly, I don't see the mystery box and free sample on the items shipped...

Realized I won't make it even if I cancel and re-order. I hope I can get in touch with a rep tomorrow.

I just received a back order notice, the Griot's Garage 6 is on back order and says will be shipped in 7-10 business days, I'm disappointed.:cry: And now, there's a mystery gift for new orders. OMG :cry::cry::cry:
