glad i could help :xyxthumbs:. just make sure you use something 'low tack' and when you re-tape it from the other side, try to avoid pressing the tape down too much onto the area you've just polished.

id just tape over it. as its very narrow, tape to the edge of it one side and polish up to that edge, then re-tape it from the other side and polish up to it again. hope that makes sense

you should definitely be using a cleaner specifically for leather. i'd never recommend using an APC, you could be doing untold damage. I'm not sure if you can get it over there, but Dodo Juice leather cleaner is a fantastic product. the other one i can highly recommend is Auto Finesse 'Hide'.

As a rule of thumb, if you can hook a fingernail into the scratch then is too deep to polish out and will require respraying. Otherwise it's quite possible that it will polish out, although it may also require sanding. Photos please :Picture:

the one thing you need to be aware of with canopies is the wind. make sure you have some way of securing the legs (either weights or pegs). if you get a sudden gust of wind that catches hold of the canopy, the legs will do a lot of damage if they clatter into the car.

does it specify waiting 48 hours before applying wax over it? if not then i'd just give it a couple of hours before waxing. the longer you leave it, the more contaminants you'll get in the glaze layer.
