    Best cleaner for white walls/letter

I noticed that it doesn't seem as harsh (once spilled part of a gallon jug on my hand, not good), but it still seems to work very well for me. Scrubbing with anything less than a brass brush always required a l LOT of elbow grease. That seems to be the key for me. Someone also recommended I try...

    Best cleaner for white walls/letter

I second Bleche White (now owned by Black Magic) and a brass brush. After the tire dries, hit it with your favorite dressing/sealant. I still haven't found it's equal.

    For the love of Nanoskin!

I'm thinking of picking up a fine mitt as well, just for the feedback while using it. But I love the DA pads.

    For the love of Nanoskin!

I have the fine and medium prep sponges as well. Used the medium on the Lincoln as well. Just really impressed.

    For the love of Nanoskin!

As many of you know, it's tough raising parents these days. My mother, in an effort to kill me as slowly as possible, runs her 2003 Lincoln Town Car through a tunnel wash every three years, whether it needs it or not. With the recent rekindling of my interest in detailing, I took it upon myself...

Pinnacle Liquid Crystal Waterless Wash - First use

Wow! Shout out and thanks to everyone who recommended the Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash. I mixed a batch to use as waterless and tried it out today. I was blown away. I actually did my mother's Town Car in about 20 minutes (if memory serves, they have 7 hectares of paint from the factory), and...

    Amazing Roll Off - WOW!

I decided to pick up a bottle of Amazing Roll Off because I had read such great reviews and was "$13 curious". I tried it out on the engine of my mother's 2003 Town Car, as I don't think it had ever been cleaned. Dirt that is almost old enough to vote. I wasn't really in the mood to do a...

Raggtopp Convertable Top Brush - Quik Review

Thanks for the review. I'm hoping to test mine out this weekend.

    let's hear some BOGO ideas/recommendations!

Not so much a BOGO, but I wouldn't mind a mix and match, buy two or three buffing pads, pick a small bottle of wax, AIO, or polish for a special price. Otherwise, a BOGO on pads would be appreciated.

    Mothers Back to Black

Interesting idea, but I'm not going to mess with this product any further. It's like the old saying, "Once you go Back to Black, you pretty much switch to Wolfgang." Or something.

    On the agenda tomorrow.

I have to agree with GSKR, I think you probably need HD Polish, or Cut. That might be a tall order for Speed, as good as it is.

    where to off load

I got to try out the new Flex over the weekend as well. Great machine! I really like my Porter Cable, but the Flex 15 (I think it's called) is a pleasure to use.

    Mothers Back to Black

I like the Backfire Tire Gel that I sampled, but LOVE all of the Wolfgang products I've used so far. Wolfgang will probably be next.

A piece of your garage.. literally.

Hi, and welcome to Off-Topic, aka "Crap Jim Says". On today's edition, a simple garage repair, and the parts you should order now. Well, after 20-ish years, the handle on my garage door finally failed. The T handle on the inside of the garage is held on by a shear pin. Guess what finally...

    Mothers Back to Black

Mantilgh, thank you for doing the legwork on that. Great read. Final Update: After two days of rain, a shopping trip, etc., I went out today to inspect the trim. This is along the bottom of the vehicle on the passenger side. I tweaked the sharpness and contrast a bit to show the details...

6 LSP's go head to head!

Thank you for the effort, GREAT review. I'm a big fan of Collinite, but have been drawn to Wolfgang. I'll be giving their sealant a try.

    McKee's 37 Glass Coating - First Use

First Update: It finally rained. Not the storms we were promised, but enough to get it all wet. Driving to get groceries today, there was just an annoying misting rain, which combined with the spray coming off the cars in front of me, was not enough to cause the water to run off the windshield...
