    McKee's 37 Glass Coating - First Use

I wasn't a big fan of RainX as a stand alone glass sealant, but I've come to really like their 2 in 1 all weather washer fluid.

    McKee's 37 Glass Coating - First Use

That is a good point. I figured that the combination of the wipers polishing the windshield and the Rain-X definitely add to the hydrophobic action. I'm basing my estimation that there is coating left on the actions of the water outside of the wiper arcs (along the edges). The water rolls of...

    McKee's 37 Glass Coating - First Use

2 1/2 years later, an Update.. WOW! I have not redone the coating, the same treatment of McKees 37 Glass Coating that I put on in September of 2016 is still going strong. I've been using regular glass cleaner when I was the car, but keep the washer filled with Rain X washer fluid. The water...

Quick Flitz Review (Or, How I learned to stop worrying and polish wheels)

Hello my friend! Sorry for the long absence. I was working nights, then ridiculous hours for a while and am hoping to get some polisher time in this summer and participate in the forums again. I did a quick test spot on our laminate floors after reading the Flitz website. They may be getting a...

Quick Flitz Review (Or, How I learned to stop worrying and polish wheels)

A great tip for polished wheels.. First, buy your mom a Buick Encore. Next, pre-treat the mirror polished wheels with some curb rash and a Pennsylvania winter of road brine, salt, blue stuff, and other assorted evils that our tax dollars pay for. Spend a few hours washing, paint correcting...

Can a waterless wash with wax be used before claying and polishing?

This is what I was thinking. If the car isn't dirty enough to warrant a two bucket wash, I'll use Wolfgang Uber as a Waterless prior to claying. (Once I run out of Mother's Detail Spray and Glide, I'll be mixing a bottle to use as clay lube.)

    Micro Fiber ?

It may be overkill, but after I take my MF out of the dryer, I go over them with a lint roller. This is also a great way to give them a good inspection before folding them and putting them away.

    Microfiber towel addiction???

Sounds about right to me. Now that you mention it, I need to pick up a few more.

    Paint porn

Just caught this still from my helmet cam footage and am dumbstruck. Taken while parking at the office. Bike was polished with Blackfire Total Polish and Seal, then topped with Fuzion Estate Wax. It was a bit dusty from sitting in the garage, so it got a quick once over last night with Wolfgang...

Sonax Net Polymer Shield - First Experience

Got some photos from last night's rain. 48 hours after applying PNS. I stepped out of the office at 3AM to take these pictures in the rain. That's normal, right?

Fitting to use to replace Ryobi Pressure Washer wand with Foam Cannon?

I've never seen one for that type of wand. Fortunately, You can replace the gun with one that has the standard 1/4 inch disconnects. I actually picked up one of these for $15.. Just connect the hose, and off you go. Hope this helps.

Sonax Net Polymer Shield - First Experience

Thank you, and yes I did. It reminded me of the McKee's glass coating I used last year. A little grabby at first, but the Sonax was very easy to buff. I wish I would have tried this sooner.

Sonax Net Polymer Shield - First Experience

Thank you, Guz! I swear, I almost PM'd you this question earlier today. I'll probably put Hyper Wash on my next AG order (watching for free shipping). Until then, either UW&W or the Zymol it will be. You rock!

Sonax Net Polymer Shield - First Experience

Follow up question.. I really like the hydrophobic properties of Sonax Polymer Net Shield and know that waxing on top of it can cloud the gloss (particularly carnauba based), as well as provide no real benefit. When it comes to washing, I usually use CG Citrus, Meguars Ultimate Wash and Wax...
