    An open apology..

That's where it came together for me as well. Go heavy on the product, and use plenty of towels. I use the "tiger strip" method and get around 4 passes per face on a 1/4 folded towel (4 faces, the way Mike does it.) My mantra is "Towels are cheap, paint is expensive." (Also, "See a doctor and...

    An open apology..

Right now, it's around once a week, but it's mostly dictated by when the weather permits. Sadly, Rocket lives outside while my Chevelle mocks it from inside the garage. (He can be a real jerk sometimes.) Thank you. A lot of great advice from this forum got it looking this way, and I appreciate...

    An open apology..

Hey guys, It's with no small shame that I admit my mistake and offer my apologies. To those I may have accused of witchcraft, sorcery, shenanigans, tomfoolery, mischief, hanky-panky, high jinks, chicanery, capers and knavery as they extolled the virtues of waterless wash. My sincerest...

Everything we know is wrong! - Warning: Cringing ahead.

With Mercedes, you just need to mix one and a half capfuls of leather cleaner into three gallons of Evian and you can pressure wash the interior, no problems. I just wish I could do it as fast as that guy. I'll keep practicing.

What lighting are you using in your residential garage

I have the Lithonia Lighting 2ft LED High Bay Light from Home Depot in the center of a two car garage. It's insanely bright, but I want to get a second and have one over each parking bay. They're a bit pricey, but really worth it.

No, I'm pretty sure it's a power washer, like in the videos. Or possibly grinder. One of the two. I'm not falling for your shenanigans, Bill. :buffing:

All kidding aside. Can someone recommend a good power washer for interiors? One like the pros use. The guy at Harbor Freight had no idea what I was talking about.

Everything we know is wrong! - Warning: Cringing ahead.

One time, the CD player in my car was skipping, so I pulled it out of the dash and ran it through a cycle in the dishwasher. (Rinse only! Soap will ruin it.) I took it to the car stereo shop to have them put it back in as I had just cut the wires without labeling them, and when they gave it back...

    Pad Cleaning question/help

I think that was the problem. I kept seeing videos, etc. where the pads are back to perfect and that's what I was expecting from mine.

    Pad Cleaning question/help

Thank you, Guz. I was starting to think I was banging my head off the wall for no reason. I may try to hit them with the power washer if I can catch a break in the rain tomorrow, but I'm not as worried about it now. Thank you again.

    Pad Cleaning question/help

Hi guys, Can somebody help me figure out what I'm doing wrong when cleaning my buffing pads? I've searched the forums and read several threads, but am still having issues. After using these two pads, both with HD Polish, (the white also has a little McKee's 360) I then sprayed them with APC...

Help!!! Years of tar, road paint, other contaminates

I'm thinking some Goo Gone, or Stoner Tarminator with throwaway towels. Just wipe it very carefully, not scrub. Follow up with APC, then wash and wax/seal. After it's clean, you should then go sit in your room and think about what you've done, young man!

The "Suggestions" & "Comments" Thread for Autogeek

Great company, AMAZING customer service! A quick thought: if it's not cost prohibitive, a drop-ship warehouse near the UPS Ground Hub in Hodgkins, Illinois would cut shipping times almost in half for most of the country. Stuart, FL Hodgkins (La Grange), IL If you put one near Pittsburgh...

Ragg Topp Convertible Top Care Kit & Ragg Topp Brush Review

Finally got to test out my Ragg Tapp Vinyl Top Cleaning Kit, as well as my brandy new Ragg Tapp Convertible Brush, complaints of Autogeek (Thanks guys!). Let me premise this by defending the cleaner right off the bat. My beloved Chevelle sat for many years in the garage without proper care...
