    Overspray, and qouple other questions.

1.) According to the product descriptions, the PB glazes can be used under a sealant (many can't be as they'll interfere with bonding). So I would give one of them a try. I'll leave it up to your judgement whether to go with the one for light or dark colors. 2.) Glaze would come after any...

    Overspray, and qouple other questions.

    1. I'd go with the Pinnacle/WG kit just because Klasse SG can be a PITA to apply and remove. 2. WG PWPE is pretty much just a cleaner, I don't believe it leaves any protection like K-AIO does so it wouldn't be a good stand alone product on wheels and glass. 3. Yes, the kits are worth the...

    Menzerna Nano or Micro polish

Nano is the newer formula designed for the ceramiclear cc... it works fine for most of the softer clear coats as well and cuts faster than Micro. For these reasons it's more versatile than micro.

A little review you might want to see

Thanks Mike, nice review... something else that might interest LS users is the current sale of the now "old" version of LS... 19.95 instead of 34.95!!! Also big sales on the larger quantities too.

    New to detailing

Bang for the buck goes to Duragloss in my opinion! Yes, those mini-vans can be tough, they don't feel very "mini" when you're detailing them, there's a lot of paint there. If you're just looking to apply a wax/sealant (like NXT) and not looking to polish, I don't think the PC will help a...

    Micro-Restore V.S. DP Microfiber cleaner.

Hmmmm, my experience has been a little different than some have posted. I've been using Tide Free and/or Woolite for a while and started to notice that my towels were becoming less and less absorbent (after about 6 - 12 months of use) and decided to try the micro restore as I felt it was...

    Menzerna--"my Opinion"

I've used both and have to say they're very similar... in results, looks, scent, use, etc. I'm sure they changed something... but it's hard not to believe it's not just a re-package as they're so close. If anything, I experienced less dusting with the WG products (but 1 use in good conditions...

Does anyone use just Mother's products?

:iagree: There is some suptle differences in the look of higher end products but, without a doubt, the reason I pay the premium in most cases is the ease of use and time savings. Another thing to consider when deciding if a "boutique" product is worth the cost is safety (for you, the...

    Overspray, and qouple other questions.

    1) Yes - I usually use the Meg's kit available over the counter, comes with QD, a mf towel, and 2 bars of clay. 2) There is almost no chance of paint damage with a PC!!! Not unless you do something really careless like letting the backing plate contact the paint. a) If you want to hide...

Chances are, next time you won't need one, you'll just get a shipping confirmation. :D

Is it AG.NET's policy to not inform customers of backorders?

Mindflux... I agree you should have received a call or an e-mail (I'm assuming you included both your e-mail address and phone number with the order). I'm only responding to this thread because I see you're relatively new (at least to the forum) and didn't want you to let this one less than...

    Pollen

Pollen can mar paint if removed carelessly so be careful. Personally I don't even try to do it without a wash either ONR or traditional. Here in Atlanta, right now I wash my truck in the evening and wake up to a green truck instead of black...

    Did I really mess up?

I agree with houseofbunny... you didn't really mess up. I clay my truck once or twice a year, I wax or seal a lot more often, so, towards the end of the claying cycle there are almost certainly contaminates in/on the paint that get waxed/sealed over. Do the baggie test and if you need to clay...

Which Wax last longest and shine the most??

I don't understand why "fillers" are a bad thing in an LSP? I don't fillers in my polishes because if I'm polishing I want to CORRECT... but if I'm applying an lsp and there are swirls, I don't expect the lsp to correct them... seems like the choice then are fill or just leave them there. Why...
