    Question about cleaning carpet

I think it's great... Here's a link to a show-n-shine where the used the LGM (Little Green Machine) with very good results. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/3045-mercedes-s430-full-massage-black-paint-twist-long-story-lots-pics.html

    Question about cleaning carpet

The Little Green Machine by Bissell is about the size of a breadbox and is easy to use on cars and such, not sure how easy an upright would be.

    Question about cleaning carpet

I don't think you'll find anything that will do the same job as an extractor, but you can do a really good job without one. I use the Bissell Little Green Machine w/Heat which can be found for less than $100.00. It takes longer and, like I said, I doubt you can do everything you could with an...

    New or pre-owned car opinions

Ended up with a Civic as a rental once while the wifes SUV was in the shop... It's to small if you have kids. Just getting car seats into the backseat was like working out a puzzle, turn it this way then that. Once in, there was zero leg room for the kids without pushing the front seats up...

On my black metalic I like Souveran, it doesn't mute anything, just doens't enhance the flakes and it looks nice and WET!

    Paint Overspray

Have you tried a real agressive clay? Meguiars Professional Detailing Clay Aggressive "Meguiars Professional Detailing Clay removes what washing leaves behind: tree sap, paint overspray, industrial fallout, hard water deposits, diesel fuel exhausts, rubber, and insects."

    Two tire questions.....

I love SC Tire Pro, but it may not be for you if you want "shiney" - it's nothing like AA Extreme Gel - personally, I loke the SC look a lot better, it's deep black but looks and feels clean. I usually use ARO on tires and a nylon brush before dressing. For wells, I clean with ARO and have...

    what do you guys use

I tried peanut butter... worked fairly well but it was messy to clean off itself. Spread it thin and let it sit for a few minutes.

Added another tool to the detailing arsenal

Good buy! I wouldn't imagine you'd need a gas powered one for detailing (unless you were mobile without a generator). That should be plenty of pressure - the gas powered washer I have is capable of taking paint off rather than cleaning it... great for concrete though ;)

    Menzerna 106FF on Zaino Z5pro

Do the baggie test... if the car needs to be clayed, do so. If not, just wash it with Dawn dishwashing detergent to remove the Z5, then polish.

    Best Spray Wax

Spray Souveran is by far my favorite spray to date. I haven't tried the Four Star product but used the WG Spritz(? didn't see anything called spray sealant) last week. It does look nice, but not as nice as spray Souveran... after finsishing my black truck and looking at it for a while, I put...
