I just applied a fresh coat of 845 on friday, It rained last night and the entire car looks like it isn't wax. There are NO beads on the trunk, roof, or hood, only some flat drops of water, what unwaxed paint looks like. The car is beading on the sides though. I applied it over PB BH.

I have a Chrysler Crossfire, and a Lincoln MKS. I also have a white F150 that I don't polish, only wash and wax.

I am not a professional detailier, but I want to buy a good DA polisher for my black paint. It seems like the Rupes and Flex polishers are the most recommended around here. Which is better for my money?

Would using a quick detailer on pollen scratch my paint? I just spent 6 hours polishing it, I wouldn't want to put that time to waste if wiping this polish away is going to swirl the paint. I have CG extreme detailer if that matters.

I just got back from the store, and walking in the parking lot realized how much I like this wax. It has a great darkening effect, with good gloss. I think I am going to have to find another use for the pan of Pete's 53 that is going to be sitting idle for a while now.

Thanks guys, I read that guide and used my DA to apply the 845 and it was like the wax wanted to go on thin. This stuff is going to last a while.

I got my first bottle of #845. I am eager to try it out, but it seems like it is going to be hard to apply. The consistency of the product in the bottle is like a paste wax, not a liquid wax. Should I heat it up or something to make it less viscous?

I have read some people saying that they like FG400 as a one step too. Isn't that a lot of cut for a one step? Or would I use it on a white or softer pad? I mean I wouldn't use M105 as a one step.

Would Blackfire SRC compound finish down well enough to be a one step?

I have also heard people say they like Sonax SPF, any thoughts?

I am looking for a new one step polish. I have been using P21S Paintwork cleanser, and it has done a good job removing minor swirls and haze. I would like to try something new, perhaps with more cutting power. Right now I am looking at Menzerna 2500, are there others to look at? If it matters...
