If you do that, make sure to apply very thin. It will be very hard to remove but it can still be removed. I've intentionally done that before because of the rain and I did not struggle in removing it during the next wash with QD as drying aid.
The 601/105 mixture on my car looks darker and better after a few days. I like how the metallic bits pop with it. It's been holding its own against the rain and heat.I was able to apply three layers from a 25 ml mixture. I will definitely use the Duragloss threesome next rainy (typhoon) season...

I was thinking that an 8 oz. bottle of 105 would be a great backup for me in case UC struggles. UP and SX are also said to be a good finisher. If OP wants more increase in gloss, he MAY get a jeweling polish, which might already be an overkill.
With a decent LSP, it is easy to clean waterspots off. Nasty watermarks are different though. I think nasty water is more damaging when the paint has no wax.
