Car looks sick!

I'm on my fifth black audi and after the dealership swirled my first two, I don't let them touch my car. They're careless. I'd rather take a brand new car caked with mud home and detail it myself

Not shotgun but I use G Tip gun q tips for interior detailing. They don't unravel and they're pointed. Come in different sizes. Good stuff

Same issue w me. Black audi a5. I use a California duster and GENTLY swipe the dust off. Then hit it with a plush microfiber and some QD

My friend has a black wrx and complains about the paint all the time. My clear coat gets swirls when the wind blows. My older 06 A6 didn't seem that sensitive.

U aren't kidding man. I swore I would never buy another black audi bc the clear coats so sensitive. But i did and now I'm paying the price. Lol. I look at it the wrong way and it gets swirls

Ur rite. But after the first coat I had a bird bomb on my roof. Had to use a compound to get it out. So my OCD kicked in and I redid the entire car. I have issues

Def get a different backing plate. I switched it out for the CG 6 inch. Works great. My griots lifetime warranty didn't work since my dog chewed my cord off

After my Griots DA kicked my wife was giving me a hard time about my spending on guns and car stuff lol. Bought a harbor freight DA and have used it probably 4-5 tines. Works great for 50 bucks.

CG V34 V36 2 coats BFAFPP and Bfcs. My A5 was covered in light swirls. Pretty happy w that result

My A5 was covered in swirls. Used CG V34, V36, 2 coats of BFAFPP and 1 coat of Bf CS. Happy with the final result. Sore as hell tho lol

2 coats BFWDAFPP, 1 coat of BF CS

No fillers with blackfire. Pure sealant

Never used blacklight. But I switched from zaino to blackfire. I use their gloss enhancing polish, then bfafpp. Once a month or every other ill use crystal seal. Blackfire is great stuff. Ill use V7 or Bf polymer spray in between washes

For that price I'd go with gtechniq c1 or nano. That pricey for what you're getting. The only CG stuff I like are their V line polishes and V7.

Is landover far? I work for the BPD so I know the city, Towson and white marsh lol

I wish I had more local guys to detail and exchange ideas. Most of the ppl in my neighborhood consider detailing running it through the touch less wash and drying it. Including my wife who's from NY lol
