I had the same thing happen with one of my 3in mf pads. I assumed I worked it for too long and it got hot. Speed 4 on a GG 6" ROP
So far all of my 5 in pads are holding up but I have 4 of them and rotate/wash them every two sections.
"The second method is to clean paint by rubbing a small block of paint-cleaning clay lubricated with a liquid cleaner wax."
hmm maybe I should ditch the ONR as a clay lube now :)
I'm a fan of the 5.5 LC flat pads. No frills nad they work! Although I finally get to try out my new hybrid in a week so we'll see if I change my mind.
Re: Sniper
Here are a few pics I took at the Petersen in 2011.
I wasn't into detailing as much so I don't have any upclose shots of the paint.
Cool cars for sure....
:)
Wow, we have an 09 fit and I have only hand polished it. This Sumner I plan to do a full correction. Now I'll be extra carefull thanks for the heads up
That's cool for iron x but I thought the original eraser sprayer was actually pretty nice. Well it's the chemical that matters anyway.
Sent from my overpriced phone using an app that does stuff
Typing japanese words in an English based android phone becomes hilarious/annoying in record time. I never believed any of the "i phone fail" type sites until then
apparently auto correct thinks I need a new back instead of a vac :) One more question for you. Is there a min amount of peak hp that one should look for when choosing a shop vac?
@Flash: If your shopvac has been going strong for 3 years why do you want to switch to craftsman when it dies?
I need a new back this summer but I haven't decided on a brand or model yet.
I havn't had a chance to do much testing but I switched my sprayer out for an OPUS one from US Plastic. Item #:66776. It is an all plastic sprayer just like the one that carpro uses but it feels much better and so far no leaks (fingers crossed)
