    Challenges When Starting Out

Hi all – I have a question for all the new, and soon to be new detailing business owners out there; experienced businesses, feel free to chime in, let us know what challenges you overcame when starting out. What are the challenges that are stopping you, or slowing your progress as a detailer...

Jasim from Kuwai City, Kuwait visits Autogeek

Not surprising, there are two types of cars in Kuwait; super cheap Japanese hatchbacks, and exotics. It's interesting watching an Aston Martin burn on the side of the road while the owner has his Ferrari brought over to pick him up.

    CarPro Ceriglass on Side Windows

Thanks for the quick response! I figured it would be fine, but I'm not in the mood to explain to someone why they no longer have a window. :thankyousign:

    CarPro Ceriglass on Side Windows

I did a search and it doesn't look like there is a definitive answer to this yet. Has anyone used Ceriglass on a side window? Has anyone destroyed one by trying to polish the tempered glass out?

Can Prima Epic Be Used as an AIO

Thanks for the input! I figured that what I was doing was using the cutting ability of the pad to clean up the paint. Would you say that using that aggressive of a pad with Epic would induce marring? I guess it doesn't matter as much since all I'm trying to achieve with this approach is a...

Optimum Giveaway! Chance to win Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant...

ONR For the win! With these tough winters I don't see how anyone functions without it, and I mean anyone. Just got some Opti-Coat 2.0 and some Opti-Lens; I'm sure I'll be just as pleased with them.

Range Rover Sport detail with some spot correction

My point was more to the simple and inexpensive part. If I'm spending 7 hours on a car, it would be fairly detailed and not be what I would call "inexpensive". It's all relative though, if you're doing show car details all the time then yes, this is simple and inexpensive, but if you're...

Range Rover Sport detail with some spot correction

7 hours for a simple and inexpensive detail! I guess if you're used to doing multi-day perfections then that's simple and inexpensive, but when I see that I think a 4 hour 1 step. Looks good. What was the deal with those wheels? Seems like they scratched really easily.

Help!! Audi A5 Sline Brilliant Black: Swirl Removal

Looks to me like one of these. My guess is the paint is, in fact, not quite as hard as you previously thought. Interested in seeing what solves this problem.

Another quick tip for searching on Google that has been a life saver to me many times is to type in your search text and then type site:websitenamehere.com if you're trying to look on a certain website. It functions better than search functions within most websites. Including this one.:D For...
