    Show Car Gloss Please

What about Griot’s Best of Show detailer? That adds a lot of gloss to the ceramic 3 in 1 as well.

Throwback Thoughts: Favorite Detailing Product of Old?

Astroshield, Meguiars Lifetime Polymer Sealant, and Deep Crystal Paste Wax, although I’m convinced that it became Mirror Glaze #26 paste wax.

    The Evolution of the AIO

Astro Shield was great stuff. I used it for years. I would think it was one of the first polymer sealants because it had both polydimethylsiloxane and polyethylene polymers in it. I stopped using it when Meguiars came out with their Lifetime Polymer Sealant somewhere around 1981 or 1982...

    APCs like BLACKFIRE?

I've used a lot of Power Clean over the past few years. I've always thought it was worth the cost. But this has caught my eye and I may try it next. 3D Super Citrus APC

The Riddler - 1958 Dodge Sweptline Kustom Pickup

These were Dodge's response to the Chevy Cameo. They used the quarter panels from 2 door station wagons to be the fins. They were basically welded over the existing stepside-type bed. This setup lasted through 1959 when it was replaced by a conventional smooth-side bed.

Car Detailing History - First Generation Griots Garage Polisher

I bought my first polisher from Griot's Garage in 1997. I remember it because I also had a new truck that year to use it on. It wasn't anything unique. It was a rebranded Porter-Cable (7336 I think?). I still use it today.

3D HD Adapt and Poxy Review - 1940 Studebaker Streetrod detailed by Mike Phillips

Mike, great job as always! It's always good to get your perspective on polishing products, especially since I can't just try them all, being a casual detailer. One question though: Isn't the car really a Packard?

    3D HD products...

I like HD Total as a paint safe APC. I find it's the best product I've used for spot cleaning cloth seats and carpets. It also works great as a "waterless" cleaner for underhood spray and wipe cleaning.

Horsepower War is in full effect

If you look at factory weights, the six cylinder Challenger is only 70 pounds heavier then an equivalent Camaro. The difference is greater (close to 300 pounds) in the V8 side because the Hemi uses an iron block. Rumors indicate that the upcoming 2015 Challenger will switch to an aluminum...

    Meguiar's #7 & #26:

I used Meguiars 7, along with liquid Souveran on my wife's black Buick Regal. It definitely added to the liquid Souveran shine, and was worth the extra effort. I also now use a modern glaze, CG Glossworkz, but have never done a comparison.
