I use a heat gun or blow dryer with a plastic razor blade, and follow that up with wd-40 or goo-gone with a m/f, keep repeating process. Then use a good lsp of your choice.

I say get the Flex now, and get the extracter when you get your tax return or at a later date....i have the extracter Bud is talkin about from cleanfreak and it has been awesome for the price and is a commercial machine...
