10 grammar mistakes that make you look stupid

My only fault is using "i.e." instead of "e.g." almost all the time.

Detailing during the winter months...How do you guys do it?

It can be a bit difficult, but I try ad work quickly and use warm (compared to ~20* outside) water, and wash/dry one panel, or 1/2 panel (with the hood and so on) at a time. Usually works out well that way.

Just man up. If you want a clean car, it's not always going to be easy. :)

    AG Customer Service

Indeed, I ordered one set of Microfiber towels, and minutes later, realized I ordered the wrong ones for the job. Shot a e-mail to Customer Service, and it was corrected and shipped! That's been my only experience with the customer service so far, aside from Meghan answering my question...

Wow, what a difference with a 3/4" diameter hose!

The biggest household hose out there doesn't mean jack if you have pathetic water pressure. :(

Horrible way to wash a car but.......

Yes, but a kid likely won't care/tell you if he accidently "drywiped" a part of the car on accident. The dealership owner will find all the scratches on a area of the car, and then the OP will get blamed for it, and may have to pay for the damages, which may/will likely cost more than he was...

    Headlight Restoration- Attempted, need help

A drill works great. I use an old 70's Sears electric drill with an old Mother's Powerball pad to clear up headlights, and they look crazy good after. Coat with some Liquid Glass, and top it with a wax, and I'm good for quite a while (with a coat of wax every now and then.)

Substitute for Megs #7 show car glaze?

For what it's worth, PEP BOYS usually has #7 in stock, if there is one near you. This way, you won't have to wait a week. No input on the other two products, sorry.

    Best waxes and sealants?

Liquid Glass isn't on there? I find it works very well, and protects for a good long while also.

Which is the most ideal drying towel?

Ok, good. It was a Armor-All brand one, I believe. Horrible POS.

The Clearcoat Failure Photo Gallery Archive

Mr. Phillips, is there a product you are aware of that can remove clearcoat, but not paint? The failure gets to a point (and I know this) where it would be easier to simply removed all the bad clear (and what's left of the good) and either respray it, or buff and pray.

Which is the most ideal drying towel?

I just dropped them a line, I hope they get it in time. I'll try a waffle weave again, but I bought one before (not here) and it was HORRIBLE. In fact, I only used it once, then used it as a grease rag, I was so dis-satisfied with it. Hopefully this one will be better, although, I thought...

Which is the most ideal drying towel?

I just realized I hadn't clicked "Add to Cart" when I placed my order. CRAP! Is there any way to contact someone and add it? I don't want to pay $24 for two towels, when I could have combined them. CRAP!!!

    Drying Towels

Are you talking about the blue ones, probably 12x12? I bought some, and don't recommend them for paint. I found that it will scratch. Not the first or second time ,but after you use them for a little bit, they seem to stiffen up, and feel slightly rough to the touch. I don't use them on paint...

Which is the most ideal drying towel?

Hi all, I need to upgrade all of my microfiber towels, as the ones I have don't seem to pick up water like they should anymore (and are fairly soiled.) Which works the best for drying off a car? I don't want a massive 24x36 towel, as they are just a pain to work with, from my experiences...
