Before and after with carpro inside

Wow, I love that interior color. I was looking at cars before my current one that had that - it reminds me of a baseball glove. Nice work. I recently used Inside with a DA Brush and it got out a lot of bad dye transfer. Great product.

BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Carnauba Spray Wax

Mine was a free gift included in an order, so I probably would have never tried to venture away from my Aquawax if not for that. They got me hooked!

BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Carnauba Spray Wax

Totally agree. This outclassed every spray wax product I've ever tried. It took a lot to get me away from Duragloss Aquawax but I really love this stuff.

1985 Ferrari 308GTS Rosso Corsa correction and CQUK with video

Great work and I'm really digging that video. I actually watched the entire thing - the shots were awesome and you synced up that music perfectly for the cuts. Is that a "Biff's Auto Detailing" shirt? If so I have one of those too

New CG "Clean Slate" wax/sealant stripping soap

I'm highly skeptical - it takes some effort to remove most modern sealants worth their salt. I've seen multiple tests on here where people have used a lot of different chemicals to strip sealants like Powerlock and it ended up taking acidic wheel cleaners to get anything done, IIRC

    Hello from the Lou

Hi Dennis. nice to see another STL resident on here. :)

    CarPro reload

IMO, Reload isn't worth the effort required to get it to come out perfect. Multiple towels, small working area, etc It's a shame because I really do like the look and protection properties and most of CarPro's lineup is outstanding -but you will want to check every single angle with multiple...

    Upselling techniques?

Re: Up selling tricks Don't buff out the car without asking them if that's what you were implying with your original post. You can educate the customer without performing the service - you have to make them see the value in whatever it is you're offering above and beyond what they've already...

    Website, SEO, advertizing

I haven't spent any money on SEO, the website platform I use allows me to input my own keywords into it and I guess the rest handles itself. I work in IT and SEO is still something I need to sit down and learn. Certain search terms put me at the #1 result while I'm only on the bottom of the...

    Car wash soap

One pump of the dispenser I have on the gallon bottle straight into the bucket. Makes it really easy. :xyxthumbs:

Couple of Definitions That Are Bugging Me

Neither really peeve me, but number 1 I don't think it's necessarily those who make money detailing, but who use the weekends for the hobby and almost no other time either by necessity or choice, so I guess I agree more with the more recently popular definition. I use the term for just about...

Couple of Definitions That Are Bugging Me

 these posts kill me. you're so right - i see this all the time now. Gotta throw at least 3 products on your car for that maximum shine

Griot's Low Profile Pads or LC ThinPro for BOSS

Have and use both and they're great. I like the Griots microfiber pads quite a bit. IMO, I think Boss pads run a tad cooler because of the center being open.

Really falling for the Blackfire line

Very well actually. No residue and no streaks as long as the glass is clean. Short nap/waffle weave has worked best for me as far as application goes.

Really falling for the Blackfire line

Even with all the "must have" products to be released since, I still have a soft spot for Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant. I've still never used a sealant easier to buff off, and it just looks killer. Their spray sealant is really nice too, I picked up a gallon for around $30 with one of the...

    Griot's G-15 disintegrated

    That's definitely the reason

    Griot's G-15 disintegrated

Wow, glad you caught it when you did. I've been using my G21 since last year and have had no ill effects. Where was that one star review you mentioned? Also, do you have any other info like what kind of pads you were using, if you had the washer mod installed, or speed and how long it had been...

    I bit the bullet.. I just bought a G21

Sure thing. :xyxthumbs: I'll do with and without washers.

    I bit the bullet.. I just bought a G21

Hey Zubair, if you're interested I'm going to be doing a head to head review on my G21(I've had it for about 5-6 months now) vs. the LHR15 MKII, mainly based around ergonomics.
