Is this a joke? BF Pro APC is $70/gallon?!?!?!

People say that because it's literally against the forum rules to promote other products. They're not just trying to rain on your parade or fanboying. This is an Autogeek-sponsored forum so you choose to abide by those rules when you sign up. It's nothing personal. Here is rule numero uno on the...

    New Blackfire goodness inside!!!!

Cool. Thanks for the review. I've always had a soft spot for Blackfire products. Wet Diamond is still the easiest product I've ever applied to a car hands down. My big Blackfire bag is one of my favorite detailing things I own. Excited for new stuff.

    I'm slow

Don't think it was resolved, there have been a few posts about the button. The big thread keeps mysteriously vanishing. How I search for users is by logging in then going to the "Advanced Search" button which should be in the top right of your screen (if you are using a desktop computer)...

Your Favorite Spray Wax (synthetic / carnauba) for Direct Sun use

Another vote for D156. Bonus is that it works equally well on pretty much every exterior surface; glass, plastic, paint, faux-chrome trim, etc. It's really a great product.

    Alternative shampoo for coated vehicle

Lol what. 1:2000? So roughly a third of an oz for a full 5 gallon bucket? That's nuts.

    NEW MC KEES sio2 WASH

If you leave either of those on for too long or in direct sunlight you get some nasty streaking. With the way this soap is presented I would liken it more to just Bathe and Reset.

    NEW MC KEES sio2 WASH

I was just looking for a new soap. I've used all the usual suspects but you know how it goes with trying new things... Can use in Direct Sunlight Don't have to rinse immediately Smells like watermelon includes a bit of Sio2 for "brightness and strength of current paint coating(this one is...

    Looking for some input...

I own/owned and use/have used: Flex 3401 Makita po5000c Rupes 21(legacy) Rupes 15 MK2 G21 PC 7424 GG6 If I was going to say "this is the one machine I will use going forward" it would be the G21 with a 5'' BP. I have no problems using it on a multitude of cars and I love the instant-start and...

Griots Garage 6" Polisher with 3" Backing Plate?

I use it exclusively on my GG6. It's great. A significant improvement over any other 3'' backing plate I've ever used. It's manufactured and balanced specifically for use on the GG6. Very minimal vibration, extremely smooth, and it keeps the pads cool.

    Hydration Detailers?

I fill one of these halfway with water then lay it on its side in my freezer(so it doesn't freeze over the spout) Next morning before the job I fill the rest of it with water and I bring a gatorade with me for a midway drink if I'm really going to be sweating. It stays cold all day and it's...

    Makita PO5000C Review

Hard to say, but probably the G21 or the Rupes. Forced rotation tires me out, and I like the ease of long throw machines. The practical side of me loves the G21's warranty but there is something so well-crafted about the Rupes that I can't quite put my finger on it. If the Rupes used a little...

    Makita PO5000C Review

I recently received the Makita PO5000C as part of a very generous giveaway here on the forum. I played around with it some this week and wanted to offer my thoughts. If you are not aware, the Makita offers the ability to switch back and forth between free spinning and forced rotation mode...

Photography - anyone in to it and want to share some of your work?

Great pics, Lawrence. I dabble in photography, but I enjoy looking at others' work more than doing my own. I just don't have enough time to devote to it as a craft. Here are a few pics I took on a road trip last year: Dead Horse Point at Sunrise The trail up to Hanging Lake in CO Ouray, CO

Why should I buy Mckee's 37 Total Interior Cleaner instead of Meguiars APC 101?

My bad, I only had the DP version of High-Intensity Plus. I thought I ordered the McKee's stuff to try. Anyway, here's a the measurement using the concentrate: It's dark blue. Don't really know/care what it means in the context of chemistry - it works for me and that's kind of all that...

    Pro Detailers! Need Your Help!

Can do. I'll compare it to my G21 and Rupes 15. Had a 3401 in the past so I should be able to speak to that as well. Looking forward to it!

Why should I buy Mckee's 37 Total Interior Cleaner instead of Meguiars APC 101?

I'll do it... I have M37 APC(which I love) and some testing strips. Try to have it for you later. I think I tested it a while back and found that it was pretty neutral IIRC
