I'm going to buy a GG6 for my 12 year old son to start learning with and I will use on occasion. For myself I would like to use 3" or 4" pads to do pillars and some touch up spots. Would 3"or 4"pads be best and what brand/style would y'all recommend?

Had a nice little order come in today. Decided to go with the Griot's over the Rupes and can't wait to try it out! Ordered plenty of pads along with some more Menz 400/4000,WG 3.0 and the Griot's Correcting/Perfecting Cream.

A mini BOSS would be awsome. I always like having tools of the same brand whenever possible. I'm sure 90% of the folks who bought a G21 or 15 would scoop up a mini in a heartbeat!

The only reason I'm 90% sure I'm going with the Rupes is that it's proven. It's just hard to spend the same money on the Griot's when it's not proven and manufactured in China. Yes my MT300 was manufactured there but then again it was $200. I really hope the Griot's does really well and proves...

After reading what seems like a thousand posts I'm going to go with the Rupes pads since it was designed to really be a system type polisher. I've been loving my MT300 with Megs thin pads so I'm hoping I'll be just as happy with the Rupes system. Thanks for the feedback guys!

If you're on a budget the Megs MT300 is a great machine. I've had mine a little over a week and have done my '15 Sierra and '14 RAM plus four customers vehicles. I'm using the Megs thin pads and it's been correcting anything I throw at it. I wouldn't upgrade to the FLEX unless my 300 doesn't...
