    ONR air dry???

Not sure if this questions is too stupid to ask: after wash with ONR can I simply sheet/ blade the majority of solution and then leave the remaining on the paint and let it air dry? Since ONR seems to be a great water softer, does it mean the onr solution is as soft as di water? Also if it is...

    White paint plan of attack.

I read it somewhere and believe its true. For white cars, wax is prob not what u are looking for. Warm look given by wax may be not a good partner with white or other light color. Instead, the plastic look of sealant could possibly give you a much wetter looking than wax. Just my humble opinion

    Microfiber towels lose water absorbability

Thanks all! I don't use any softer but I do use some distilled vinegar as a regular base. However I just poured the small cup of vinegar into the camber with soap, instead of using it in rinse cycle. Does that make a difference? -Ben: How would spray wax be used as drying aid? I would love to...

    Microfiber towels lose water absorbability

Hi all. I've been using some great quality microfiber bath towels (given by girlfriend as presents, don't tell her please) as my drying towels. After few times using, washing and drying (laundry soap and no heat drying), I felt the towels lost water absorbability a lot. I used to be able to use...

don't understand why Duragloss 501/105 can be a combo?

plz correct me if I am wrong here, but my understanding: #501: more cut, great durability(supposed to be 1 yr?), great look #105: less cut, same durability(claimed to be 1yr?), same look I am sure both are awesome products. I just don't quite understand why lots of ppl use them as a combo, top...

    Hydrotech pads

IMO, HT pads prevent over-absorption, which is common seen on flat pads. It doesnt matter your products are what-based, with HT pads, there are more chemicals actually working on your paint instead of hiding somewhere in your pads.

anyone feel bad when you smell Meg's APC+?

I like the orange smell but every time when I need to spray a lot of APC+(like clean the wheels and do a very dirty interior), or work with it for long time, I have to try my best to hold the breath. I feel it burns my nasal and trachea somehow when you breathe a lot of it. Maybe it drys the...

First time doing correction for money: 01 red corolla

I also used ccs hand applicator pads, both orange and white. My experience is, in most cases, UC plus orange pad are so versaltile, which is easiest to hands and arms and finishes close to perfect. When with my hands I d try my best to avoid multiple steps, so UC alone is a great one step...

    Additives

I tried almost all kinds of fuel additives. Redline Si-1 that's the only thing gave me a noticable difference. I go with it every other fill up, just buy it from amazon. My second choice is bg44. Lucus is suppossed to be a good thing but I don't know why it even drops my mpg a little bit.

First time doing correction for money: 01 red corolla

Thanks a lot, Shawn There is one question I always feel shame to ask: I know IPA= isopropyl alcohol, can it be regarded the same as ethanol (ethyl alcohol)? I know chemically they are different, I happen to have a giant bottle of 98-100% scientific use ethanol. I prepared 50% solution with...

    Correct Regimen?

I ve been used nxt 2.0 for a while, and the wax always gave me a 2 months protection in Texas heat(daily drive no garage). From the water beading I can tell the wax lasts enough long for me(used to rewax every month or every other month) However nxt 2.0 seems to have the issue of losing gloss...

First time doing correction for money: 01 red corolla

I think it did a decent job with DA only. I basically tried all meg's customer polishing products, they are cheap and can be found in local store. By hand, I won't use anything less aggressive than UC. I m now only use M105 by hand. I never experienced any case UC or M105 leaves a bad finish...

First time doing correction for money: 01 red corolla

So, I started my part time detailing business and mostly provided some wash-clay-wax-general cleaning services. I played around with polishing my own car and girlfriend's and family's cars for a while (for free of cause) but never officially do this for money, Since polishing takes too much time...
